My dog knows the sound of every type of food he loves . If I take tuna out of the fridge no matter what he knows .

Ah yes, I have two dogs and one cat that do this.

Reminds me of that running gag in Buckles, where the titular dog tries to get or eat a bag of potato chips from his owner Paul all because of that crinkling sound the bag makes whenever it’s opened.

You can’t run from Garfield & Odie.

You can’t play hide and seek against two well trained experts. Especially if cookies are involved.

The noise of the lid coming off the jar alerted them. That little noise is what always rats me out when I’m pilfering the cookie jar.

That happens all the time. With my doggie it the rattle of cellophane wrapping that gets her attention. I seldom eat crunchy cookies.

When our son and daughter-in-law are here for dinner with their kids, after the children are done and playing, I’ll very softly say, “Do you think they’d want any cookies?” They never fail to hear it, and come running.

Jon, you’d have been better off just eating the cookie in the house, you might’ve gotten away with it that way

Pets have a sixth sense when it comes to food.

You’d think Jon would’ve learned when he tried his mother’s cookies from Garfield in a Garfield and Friends episode.

Trying to eat cookies, without Garfield arriving at the location, that is not possible at all!

Don’t think you can eat alone…they hear you thinking about it before you ever rattle the wrapper!

All I have to do is stand up from anywhere I’m sitting and they almost knock me down tryin’to beat me to the kitchen…..even if the kitchen AIN’T my destination‼️

They always know! In my house you can’t open a bag of shredded cheese, cookies, and chips without my dog knowing. She has such great hearing and smell.

Get cookies that are still soft. No crunch.

Our little neighborhood girl scout delivered our girl scout cookies this morning. I am addicted to the mint ones. Yum!

Jon looks a little like a Don Martin character in today’s strip.

Kind of like The Big Catnap episode of Garfield and Friends.
