If that is what a six minute marathon miler looks like then I am at least a 4’30” one. I could win the senior division by five miles at least.

Reminds me: 11 years ago, I had a police officer pull me over at 5am for “running a red light”. I was not driving. I was running. He didn’t write me a citation (“because I don’t want to deal with the paperwork!”), but made sure he acted unnecessarily unprofessionally before letting me go.

Cop standing in the pouring rain – “All right you, do you know why I stopped you?”

Guy sitting in his car – “Yeah, do you know why I ran the sign?”

    (with apologies to Drew Carey)

Back in the ‘80s a CHP officer stopped a kid on a skateboard, or rather followed him ’til he was able to stop, on the I-15 coming down the El Cajon Pass. And refused to put the speed on the citation, so he wouldn’t be able to brag about it.

Years ago I got speeding ticket with bicycle. Cops were laughing and wrote result in ticket, 62km/h in 40km/h zone. I framed it.

I can go 10 mph. On a hill with a steep cliff at the edge.

He could have run even faster, but he blew a sneaker.
