Who works on one thing at a time? Heck, I feel fortunate when I just have four or five balls in the air at once. But Nicole would like them all to be wedding related. (There are far more things than just one for the groom to be doing before the wedding.)
No way the NFL would want a franchise in Hawaii what with the 5-hour time difference between Honolulu and New York. They’d have to play all their games at night (mainland time) in order for them to air on TV.
First of all, Go Chiefs!Second, I was hoping that maybe a slip of a name of the Raider’s player might add to some reality so we can maybe draw a connection. No dice I guess.
Robb has it correct that it’s Chargers vs. Raiders today. However, the Chargers cut their player who wore ‘99’ several weeks ago. (Jerry Tillery, for anyone wanting to know. Tillery was, in fact, claimed by the Raiders.)
I see both sides here.. but defintely lean towards Marcus. I get Nicole wanting focus on their wedding and wanting him not to multitask. That’s fine… but I see Marcus’s point entirely:He’s retiring, this team is his future and it’s NOT just him whose investing. The twins are likely putting a lot into this and if this team dosen’t work out, it could damage the twins careers and prevent Marcus from doing more football related stuff, which given he’s an ex footballer leaves his career options post retirment incredibly dim. This comes off less as “stupid man how dare you not focus on the wedding” and more him making sure his future is secure, especially since while for VERY good reason, Nicole ASKED him to retire.
One word – I said this to my husband, but he insisted on a big wedding – ELOPE!
I did offer to bring our immediate families and his grandmother along for the ceremony at the township’s office building and then go out for lunch. It took well over 10 years before the 2 sides were talking to each again – once again he told me that I was right and he should have listened.

Doing two things at once is fine… As long as both things are with her that week.

Will or won’t the wedding happen? Or will there be a big blow up? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Chargers vs. Raiders always a good match-up. Raiders used to be my team until they left Oakland. Just not the same.

Wow, honestly not sure which side I’m on, here.

As a Broncos fan, I hope both teams lose.

Nice of Robb to be accurate, since the Chargers are playing the Raiders in Las Vegas this week!

Are they sure that there won’t be a post season playoffs conflict?

If he does business on his trip there, couldn’t he write the whole thing off as a business expense?

Banquet hall with a view at UH Manoa? Where? OK, I haven’t been there since the 1980’s.

Probably best not to take relationship advice from a tight end.

How does Marcy have time to run that whole medical center, work with patients, AND be the receptionist?

Yeah, if he’s involved in the wedding in any way besides showing up, he’s not gonna have time and he’ll learn that the hard way.

The problem with using family for sitters is that for an event like this, all your sitters will be in attendance.
