I never read any of the Frank Merriwell adventures myself, but I know I heard the name somewhere along the line. As I remember, Flash Gordon was also a college athlete. The past is a different country.
“Midway upon the journey of our life” –It’s Story time with Wendy Wisely – Drag Queen! I could see her doing The Divine Comedy for the kids (and Adults).
The local xtian defenders of morality have a hissy fit every time there’s a drag show around here. At one city council meeting the mayor advised them they can simply not attend if they are offended.
I Iove the whole concept of this strip. I enjoy seeing the original art and then revised version. Today’s dialog is absolutely hilarious coming from badas$ gangsters.

Kids get it. They understand playing dress-up. That’s why they aren’t fussed over drag queens.

I dunno… His stories would probably be about what really happened to Louie Miller, Sukey Tawdry, Lotte Lenya and even old Lucy Brown.

When the neo-nazis show up we’ll find out who the real sissies are.

If anyone can tell a story that will hold a kid’s attention for an entire hour, I don’t care how they dress.

well, I guess the urban terrorists who show up to disrupt story time and beat up drag queens would be in for a rude surprise . . . .

There might be body hair issues. He looks like he would have a 5 o’clock shadow by noon.

DANTE: Hey Enzo – gotta match?
ENZO: DON’T SET ME UP LIKE THAT, DANTE! I know how violently you’d respond to “Yeah – your face and my butt”.
DANTE: Nevermind – it’s an e-cig… dead man.

Ah! Joining the ranks of public performers who are female impersonators. A lot of guys are into that these days…

Drag performers seems to bother Republicans a lot. The party accusing Democrats of taking rights away are so upset about the way someone dresses.

Can’t really imagine Dante as “pretty”, regardless of the light. Maybe Enzo’s seeing something I’m not.
