Yeah… now that I think about it, one of the ones that Gunther sports is in the shape of a “heart”…. maybe that’s the Pitts version of the Purple Heart, for his standing up to Les on more than one occasion, and being able to tell about it….

The comic is called Luann but haven’t seen her much in this segment. Not even in the background. Since Sunday. Miss Phelps is a bit on the Asinine side today.

I’m wondering if this is going to be where Greg hands off this strip completely to his daughter?

This is not the time to be catty, Phelps. There is a graduation ceremony and a whole lot of people involved here, and it’s in your best interest to see that it goes as smoothly as possible. So help the dumb girl go where she’s supposed to go!

Years ago? So, three years ago, when Tiff was a mere 14, her life should have already had some direction? Seems to me that she had more direction than the rest of the cast with her Hollywood aspirations. Maybe her dream wasn’t realized, yet, but at least she was chasing it. Phelps seems mean here, and she thinks more of herself than anybody in this strip up that isn’t Tiffany. I, for one, am hoping that she doesn’t retire and hook up at Mooney U as a contract counselor or something.

Tiff reminds me of my first wife….a beautiful natural blonde who thought of nothing but herself.

We saw Luann, Bernice and Delta on Sunday, and TJ is not a student. However, Ox and Les have yet to appear.

We haven’t seen them yet in the “daily” strips. I don’t normally count “Sunday” as being in the same time continuum. It’s sort of a “Parallel” universe, for me.

Although, I do acknowledge TJ being Brad’s age, and graduating (or leaving HS) with him.

Tiff knows what she wants—stardom. As with my son, who wanted to go in the movie business, years ago. His latest directed movie was just rated by the NY times & WSJ! If she is tenacious, she will succeed.Believe in yourself.

Phelps is too mean here. Tiffany, if the one in front of you turns right then you turn left. If the one in front of you turns left then you turn right. If the one in front of you turns one way then you turn the other way. If you are confused still, pretend you are modeling graduation gowns and do what you want.

Very few students have their life figured out in early high school. Phelps is probably jealous of all that Tiff has going for her.

I am curious as to the direction of this strip. Are we going to follow Luann in her adventures at Moony college, will we pick up the story some time later, as did Funky Winkerbean, or will the strip end here?

Just so you agree seven years is questionable..As to why everybody doesn’t follow Luann’s leading, why should they?You disagree with much she does, surely they can too.As to why they might be tempted to distrust Tiffany, being self-centered and shallow of thought, she might not realize the damage she is doing herself and others.I love her, but wouldn’t place my life in her hands..You and I remember things differently and you do an excellent job of reposting old strips - which I appreciate and enjoy — but two which come to mind involve Tiffany barging in on Luann and Quill at the pool. Not knowing they were together again points to cluelessness and self-centeredness.The second was during the play when he told her he had told her he wasn’t romantically interested. Even if we did not see it, his demeanor and her response supported his words..You assume Fogarty is a failure as a teacher. I’ve never seen a HS graduation where the boys and girls wore the same color gown. In fact, just about every girl I’ve seen graduate from HS crossed the stage in a white gown. Just attended my grandson’s graduation; he wore blue; his cousin wore white.

It should be obvious most identify with various characters and are reminded of people they knew way back when. (Methinks thou dost it too.).Thus, they are not just mad at Tiffany for her misdeeds but for those real girls who lived to cut others down..This is why they are ready to forgive the misdeeds of their avatars because they harmlessly did in an imaginary world what they imagined doing themselves. (They can distinguish between fantasy and reality, no matter how strident they may get.).It is easy to complain how others failed to break into Tiffany’s imaginary world and convince her she was mistaken, but this is related to the problem of any form of education: The student can refuse to learn..The Fogarty follies were based on previous ztrips

It’s adorable to watch people claim, “He/she may have done that thing, it’s just that we never saw it in the strip.” As far as I’m concerned, if writers don’t write about a thing happening, there’s absolutely no reason to ASSUME it happened. Even if you do believe that Greg Evans, who is a human being like anyone else, is TOTES FLAWLESS.

I still wonder how it’s possible for Tiffany to be graduating.

Just because you get to cross the stage with the rest of your class and get handed a padded document holder, does not mean that there is a diploma inside.

I was able to delete posts via mobile.. And it wasn’t a “top o’ the line phone”, when I used it…. maybe it varies from service to service. Or the OS… even some of the best can have those quirks….

As I recall, most of my classmates got diplomas. A few got summer school notices…

Thng is, I’m still “3G” in a 4G world, Lol! – 1st Gen note? Wow! Still “better than mine”, LOL! I have a ZTE Warp, and as backup, I have a Galaxy Prevail. We also have the “Mark II” Prevail (the larger sized one) and they “do the job!” I have a spreadsheet and word app, and never have problems with data loss or memory shortage. I switch between my phones and PC for Email, etc, and the phones will get a message faster than the PC (by 30 secs or so)! But for the " really big stuff", anything for work or large sized projects, that usually goes on the PCs, anyway…

Yes, we CAN assume that and might be right.or wrong.The guidance counselor tried to let Tiffany know her grades would not support college admission acceptance. Tiffany did not care because she had already been accepted under alternative admissions path. This is not actually the same thing as saying her grades were not high enough to be graduated.Possible is not definite until observed.

I never even thought of stuffing 64 in mine… And I thought I felt good with just the 780ps, Ha ha!!! Wow! I have to now try that!
