By the end of the week Luann may realize that her “chemistry” experiments with Aaron and Quill were both HUGE disappointments. Pursue a different relationship path. She has some “growing up” of her own to do.

Let’s review 1. Gunther is small and weak. Gunther is not a phony. He’s solid, loyal and fun in his way. Sometimes he makes small messes. Kind of like Puddles. Luann looooves Puddles.

Let’s review 2. Jack is big and strong. Jack is not a phony (so far). He’s spontaneous, still somewhat of a player, and a fun seeker. He’s pursuing a career path that Greg apparently admires. He and Luann are in a “chemistry” class.

There will be no new love interest characters. Greg has no luck with them. Elwood. Rosa. Quill.

Ah, she’s got lots of time to play the field and there’s many opportunities for friendship and romance. And some of the best romances grow out of real friendship.

Ms. Sigmund Freud (Pru) is strongly guiding Luann to examine her emotions.

While I am all for Luann hanging out more with Gunther, I am hoping that Luann does not jump ahead too fast yet and suddenly decide to do an “all romancy” interaction towards Gunther…. at least until she has a much clearer understanding of her own thoughts in the matter. I would hate to have her test out the romance part on Gunther and then suddenly come to the realization he isn’t the right person for her. That could be rather hurtful for Gunther. Luann should proceed carefully until she is really more aware of her feelings, I think.

I thought biology was chemistry.

And there we have it! Luann realises the need for chemistry and our writer has not introduced an “Aaron” in quite a while!

When are Lu and Pru going to stop pretending and get down to it?

Reminds me of an old Mary Tyler Moore Show episode, where Mary and Mr Grant (Lou Asner) try going on a date, since they are such good friends. When it comes time for the good night kiss, they try, but both break into laughter and realize they will always be good friends, never lovers. On the other hand, sometimes you do fall in love with your best friend.

so Pru is trying to get through to Luann’s walnut size brain, but seriously I would like to think Luann’s not that idiotic to realize Pru trying to map out her possibly feelings towards gunther. you may discover a forever friend could very well be your prefect half, for they know you the best, and they could become your life long partner in crime

Mini-Elvis wouldn’t make you jump out the window, Luann. Neither would Aaron, Quill, or any other suitor you’ve ever had or are likely to have. Just Gunther. That’s chemistry, but the toxic kind.

One of the most interesting things of all today is the ‘toon over at LUANN AGAINN Fits in perfectly with today’s ‘toon. That can’t be an accident…

it’s odd. But I can easily see Luann and Pru in the future, two lovely old women making good friendly discussions just like now. But I can’t imagine the same with Luann and Bernice… However, it’s nice to see Luann so sure about what she feels. I hope Pru will try to make her go with Jack

Sometimes when you’ve known one forever who think you’re beautiful is when sparks can fly unexpectedly. Some to share with and have fun with and be close to. Sometimes those shadows can touch at the right moments then who knows what could happen if not extinguished by the liquid of doubt.
