This is hilarious! You know, when 2020 did its number on us (Seriously, zombie fires in Alaska? Murder hornets? The Vatican, Mecca and Las Vegas all agreeing to close up shop for awhile?) I thought it would be a strange year, and then it would end. But then it rained fish in Texas in 2021 and I thought, “Hoo boy—the entire decade’s going to be like this!” So far I’m not wrong.
This is stupid. No one would ever make cookies like those.Especially not a perceived normal family like the DeGroots.Maybe someone trying to post the stupid cookies on YouTube or something yeah. But not her.Just ackward, nonsensical writing as usual.
Decent forming of Ukraine. I say this with a flag of Ukraine at my cubicle, and one out front with my Grand Union flag (thirteen stripes & the King’s Colours.)
i’d chastise people to stop bringing politics into the comments, but I guess I can’t given G&K did today. Oh well …. luckily tomorrow returns to non-political topics in the strip. See y’all then!
And it’s still steaming. My sentiments exactly. I think most of us wish BOTH our parties would behave better and act in the country’s best interests and not their own.
“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘Founder’ did not want, and would not condone, False & Fraudulent Elections!”
Mr. Evans, I hope today’s strip doesn’t get you in trouble. I still remember all too well when “Non-Sequitur” got pulled from our paper a few years ago and replaced with (UGH!) “Nancy.” I guess the paper wanted something as inoffensive (and unfunny) as possible.
Now I am really hungry for homemade sugar cookies. I want frosting on them and some pretty sugar sprinkles, but I am too tired from doing dog therapy today.
I join with the commenters who feel disappointed (or worse) by today’s comic. I read the comics to escape the problems of the world, not to see them displayed and promoted as being “funny”. I hope this trend does not continue in the Sunday comics, or I will, as some condescendingly suggest, have to start skipping “Luann” on Sundays. That’s my opinion, others are free to differ.

Greg nailed it in the last panel. Unfortunately, I think 2023 is going to be more of the same. Maybe term limits would help clean it up.

And hang on to that “Olympic” cookie.
It looks like part of a set of brass knuckles.
A “tool” which may come in handy in 2023. ;-)
