… you could’ve asked her out like normal people… again. You’ve done this. Granted Gunther’s in another relatoinship, if a very toxic one, but you both had your shots: Tiff stormed out because Gunther was awful to her, and likely woudl’ve stormed out as Les’ entire date prep was “I 100% i’m going to get laid despite Tiff having in no way commuincated that other than meeting me later, after she dates someone else”. You were both idiots is what i’m saying so I have no sympathy for either of you. Your grownish men, you can ask a woman out without being werid and one of you is actively with someone else.
And in that solemn moment, Les realized, to his dismay, that he’d turned into a “nice guy.” And finally knew what it’s like to be used.
Enjoy last place, chump, I mean, “champ.
Gunny? Take Bets out for an early surprise Valentine’s Day Dinner.
And Les? Since NOBODY’S home at Tiff’s manse, why not go rob the joint? It’ll be just like “old times.” You’ll feel better and may gather up some “compensation” for the trouble Tiff put you through.
And maybe, just MAYBE, if you’re lucky, you run into Tara’s cousin Stella, stealing packages off of rich folk’s porches. And if you’re even luckier, she won’t run over you for invading her turf.
What is the point of the Tiffany/Gulag arc? That, as for Gun(ther) he and Bets could not move in, but Tiffany has done so without a peep of protest from Gunnie’s mom or stepfather Al? That Les is so close, in terms of toxic parent relationships to Tiffany. and the fact that he has the ability to be emphatic, to the point of being taken advantage of by Tiffany; as a corollary, is Tiff, still afraid of returning to the huge, empty, scary mansion, and too annoyed to move back to the dorm, is nevertheless a very cunning user of the boys here? What’s Gunnie’s deal, to cook for her? Thin makings for the soup base one could say as to motivation. And while I very strongly disagree that there is anything toxic about Gun(ther) and Bets relationship, nor why some think the whole point is for him to dump Bets, so he can finally hook-up with a Tiffany who does not seem to care for any romance here, why hasn’t Tiffany’s rather cavalier residency in the Gulag, not enraged, or at least angered Bets given the clear difference in treatment on that score? One can understand, possibly, that a brief period of convalescence under her circumstances might justify allowing Tiff to room there for a reasonable time, or until she could make other arrangements is warranted, but with Tiff, seemingly, no longer injured, and in fact looking rather slimmer (not that I care about her weight depiction, it’s silly to me) toddling off to a dorm party, without inviting either of the boys, the significance of this unlikely scenario leaves tons of room for speculation. Will this arc provide any answers? Well, given that the last arc left things ridiculously hanging, expectations that it might aren’t too high. But again, tons of room for patented misdirection plays here.
Much better.I get lots of snotty responses here whenever I complain about how unrealistic, boring and mundane the endless interactions with Bernice and Luann are…and ignorant people always say to me "why do i keep reading it then?Just go away if you don’t like it!”Well it’s because the storylines that DONT involve Bernice (and even Luann at this point) are actually fun and compelling. So let’s see what happens next…it could be good
Gunther and Les finally realized the situation. Les even seems to be very annoyed by Tiffany’s behavior. I really think they’ll invite Tiffany to go elsewhere, but remains to see how Bets will fits into the story. If Tiffany’s reason for not returning to the dorm is Stef, the three must find a way to get Stef out of that room.
AHA! I commented yesterday that Greg might pull a “switcheroo and stay with the Boys … for a surprise arc.”
Lo and behold, it looks like this might be happening! The boys seem pensive and subdued today, even a little maudlin. This is not their typical tête-à-tête! Has Tiffany, or her absence, caused such a disruption in their lives?
I’m doing my happy dance in anticipation of where this might be going.
I’m guessing this week will be having these two about how they will tell Tiff to move, but Tiff will end up moving out on her own before they could get a chance.
I think with Tiffany going off to campus party, she’s letting them know she’s ready to move out. Betts might be coming to help her move back to the dorm.
I could see Gunther and Les coming to an agreement to gently ease Tiff on out, but then Les backing out at the last minute and defending Tiff in order to stay on her good side, because of his crush.
When we we living in Denver a neighbor discovered, by accident, that his wife was having an affair. She got home from work, all her stuff was on the front yard. Would proably easy to give Tiff that same message.
The guys need to say something to Tiffany. As far as she knows, they are happy with the current situation. Tell her it is time to move back home, and try to help her with her fear of being alone. Maybe suggest someone who could live with her at the mansion.
Hopefully they will do it gently and as a team. That way there will be no room for her to manipulate one against the other. She knows Les is weak when it comes to her charms.
I assume we are in the Spring semester, so did Tiffany pay dorm fees for both semesters in August? If not likely the dorm assigned another student to the quad.
In the near future one of two things will happen: 1. Tiff will come back and announce where she will be living next, the dorm or her house or 2. Tiff will come back and the boys will announce it’s time for her to move on as her arm has healed.
So the boys are ready to put the Tiffany episode aside and move on. Seems strange to take a couple of days of strips to make that point. So what happens NOW!?
Les and Gunther have that “deer in the headlights” look and Tiffany is carefree and oblivious. She probably thinks they are grateful for her presence. Even when Dez tried to tell her it was time to go she just shrugged it off. The girl either has an ego problem or a confidence problem, but I think she’ll use the “I’m so scared” excuse as long as possible. All they have to do is stop the pampering.
Yes, the time has come, gentlemen Tiffany Farrell no longer has need of your services, and indeed you must evict her! She has the mansion to live in, or she can try the dorms at college…..

It’s good to see that Les has finally realized that Tiff is taking advantage of their kindness.
I think I hear Bets walking up to their front door….
