That might explain the constant Emergency Alert System chiming across the radio. It is warning everyone that people should avoid traveling in Portland due to the riots.
I have not looked at any news since the day before the election. No FacePlant, no nothing. It’s the most peace I’ve had in years. Regardless, my wife does so I’m aware of things.
Great idea. Particularly since the Guild of Headline Writers has a requirement to distort or negate the content of the story no less than 30% of the time.
Any time the pandemic, BLM riots, cat 5 hurricanes, or election “fraud” get you down, just thank God if you’ve at least got your health. A friend who finally got her multiple myeloma into a sort of remission, came down with Lyme disease.

For those of you that don’t get the referece , Cartoon Network show called “Rick and Morty” About an eccentric grandfather/genius who invents dimensional portal hopping, and time travel and his beloved but naieve grandson Morty Smith. Morty begins many thoughts with “Ah Jeez”
Buttercup is just demonstrating the character traits that were well set by the time he reached first grade. Petulance, bigotry, sleaziness, paranoia, megalomania. Ha’Pence is just doing what he was told by his parents, i.e., always play nice with the child who has all the toys.
It seems to me that the headlines today are the story. Most people don’t read beyond the headline and immediately start tweeting and reporting on other peoples tweets without reading anything under the headlines. It’s not really “fake news”, it’s just wrong.
There really are newspaper boxes with the same headline day after day. I see so many of them abandoned with the last paper still on display on the window.
Just a reminder that, while all of our attention has been focused on election results, COVID claimed another thousand Americans yesterday. And the day before. And probably today as well. Every day achieving a …

Looks to me like people haven’t even checked the bare points of election laws and how they work in each state. The only thing they seem to know is the main election date and that’s all, but what happens before and after until the inauguration is all muddy waters to them…

Stock subheads could include: “You won’t believe what he did this time”, “This could’ve been easily avoided”, and “When will they learn?”

Now that the elections are over and Republican Senators have won back their seats they are now distancing themselves from “Crybaby Trump.”
That was a very pathetic performance he gave last night. The media and Fox all pulled the plug stating that they were tired of listening to his lies.
Worse than losing the presidency, Crybaby is losing the spotlight.

Cheaper papers do use the same headline. One tabloid ran an “asteroid approaches Earth” story every week for months.

Unrealistic Expectations: (1) counting those 93 million early votes by the end of election day. (2) Trump to behave like a mature adult.

Abolish the electoral college and we could have easily declared Biden and Harris the winners already.
