Haven’t put Christmas decorations away yet?

I have never been lost since I was a small child. I’ve always managed to find my way back without assistance. Now I cannot swear that I can tell you where I’ve been.

Actually, the above is not true. In spite of having a Y chromosome, I have stopped to ask for directions on one or two occasions in my life – pre-GPS era.

Supposedly an vaunted explorer once said, I’ve never really been lost. Confused as to location at times, certainly, but ‘never’ lost. Know that feeling.

So they go into the house and there’s a cabinet, with a door in the back. They go thru the door, and, it leads back home. Grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch. The End.

And that’s why I’m such a dull storyteller.

It appears they have “roamed” to home, but not their own. I think the house looks warm and tasty. What could possible go wrong?

Ooooh. The places we can gooooo…..

Actually it was at the gingerbread batter stage that the plot thickened.

I’m never lost. Wherever I go, there I am!

I don’t ever get lost. People always tell me where to go ( usually down to a warm place )

I love GPS. I might be heading in the wrong direction, but I know where I am.

How wonderful would life be if homo Sapiens could admit that we never get lost, but admit that we just roam around and enjoy the scenery?

Actually, the house looks kind of Christmasy. About a month late, but still…

At least we know that it’s not some Florida resort.

How many people can recall the sketch Wiley made depicting the Vatican’s pope and the leader of North Korea many years ago? I’m trying to recall who was following who in Wiley’s theory or world powers?

Life is adventure enough. If you’re doing it right.

I’d feel better if there were also horse tracks leading away from the house.

The best story I’ve ever heard of successful direction seeking happened in my small hometown. A friend of my mom’s was coming to visit our house in the country. He stopped at a restaurant in the actual town to ask directions. The waitress was my sister, who of course gave him good directions. As for me, I can neither give nor receive directions. I’ve been hopelessly lost many times. And my siblings are all like guides, who could find their way anywhere.

The house doesn’t get Really Creepy until it stands up on its Chicken Legs.
