While Adam was in Eden, there were already a bunch of people in the world. It’s right there in the first chapter.

Next thing you know and they will be saying that it was Paradise until women were invented.

Men won’t know what to do with senior management when she gets there.

It’s all one sided, women only play the helpless damsel card when they want something.

The downside with no women (in this scenario) is that there are no future generations.

It’s possible that early versions of the myth gave YHWH a wife named Asherah.

I know, make him a female person, then all his troubles will be over/started. We’ve all had to do it …

A few years back I posted the following in one of Wiley’s strips, Eve is going to show up and say, “Put a leaf over that thing”.

Also, were the Keg and Tap the first two inventions?

I’m pretty sure women wouldn’t mind an Eden with pizza and beer, if it didnt’ make us fat OR, if fat was considered the height of good taste and sexiness.

Wiley has his facts wrong. The Almighty created Woman to be a companion to Adam, and see to his emotional needs. After a while, The Almighty saw that Woman required constant, high maintenance, and was often a source of fear & anxiety to Adam. So, THEN The Almighty went back to the drawing board and created DOG.

Wiley is talking about creation BEFORE Genesis 2:18, “ The Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.’”

All the sin you guys are talking about happened afterwards. We celebrate Easter in a couple weeks. Jesus Christ came (remember Xmas?) and died to save us from our sins. The sin question has been settled. What you do with it is the big question. Will you believe and follow Him?

This being the relative passive phase without the female of the species, but the human race is replete with a far more deadly phase whether it’s killing the rest of the living creatures on earth or killing governments, democratic governments or simply brothers as in Caine and Able… All those loners who tried to overthrow our government Jan. 6 or Putin trying to gobble up Ukraine were and are males without women. Granted there are a few women in the ranks but not enough to make a generalization.

Elderly woman here. This cartoon doesn’t bother me at all. Most women know what’s what.

Add a house cat, just to give the guy a little experience in the unfathomable. Then women will assimilate more easily.

#1. There is no “Mrs. God”. There is only the Triune God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. There is the Blessed mother who we venerate, but she is not divine.

#2. This should send a message to al the transgender advocates out there. You can’t have children if you do not have the union of a biological man and a biological woman. The use of science to subvert this union is a sin and breaks the natural law that brings a man and woman together in marriage. The S3xual faculty is met for marriage only between a man and a woman as both a unitive act of love and for procreation.

Thanks Wiley for pointing out how important true natural marriage is and pointing out that all other man made constructs violate natural law and destroy civilization. I am sure that is what you meant.

Lots of people think things through, the trouble is they think it through to the wrong conclusion. I mean really, earth started with dinosaurs and here we are.

We really ARE nothing but works in progress..

This is why God was smart enough to never marry.

Paradise was lost as soon as thinking was added to the cocktail of life.

It was still paradise with Eve, until some fruit said something’s not right.

I consider my relationship with God to be a private matter between me and Her.

Just to throw fuel on the fire. Up until the 10th , 11th century, I forget the exact time, there were established, accepted ceremonies, Catholic church, for same sex marriage and for the right reason, suicide was acceptable. Look it up.

I would love to see Mrs. Almighty’s version of Eden! Mr. Miller?

So many people are going off-topic here, since much of the commentary from both the religious and non-religious is related to their view of our universe. This comic strip, of course, takes place in a separate universe, whose Creator is Wiley.

But in our universe, it’s always fun to see what’s being said on comics like this. As a Jewish atheist, of course no one will be surprised that I side with the non-religious point of view. But I try to be open-minded, by which I mean I don’t generally have a problem with anyone’s religious beliefs, for whatever benefit it provides to them.

My only beef is with those who try to impose their belief on all those who don’t believe as they do, in the mistaken idea that theirs is the one and only true belief.

Blasphemy has no place in the comics. Heck, if this was about Muhammed, Wiley would be meaked for death.

I know the quote about religion being an opiate and all that, but boy. Some of the comments and venom coming from the religion of peace…

Makes me question the strength of todays’ opiates.

Or maybe just a lot of them are off their meds.
