Teaching the kid epicaricacy early Opal?

Earl is getting his exercise for the day.

And it isn’t a cell phone, so he can’t call it.

Opal has revised the story to see if the kid was listening.

Multitasking: Reading (listening to) a story and watching a live-action unscripted comedy-mystery show at the same time.

It’s a little game they like to play.

When Earl wants to take a break from reading stories, he pretends to lose his glasses. As a bonus, since Opal is now occupied with a book, he can look for his glasses in the cookie jar.

“in a while”…like just before his bedtime…

So, I’m guessing his HEARING is bad too……….

Opal is reading “20 Hungry Piggies”…a book with math concepts for kindergartners.

Opal= Simple minds are easily amused!

Of course Earl can’t find his glasses. He can’t see them because he isn’t wearing his glasses.

Just tell him to look for his glasses in the mirror

I never understood putting your glasses up there….

Funny…after she read that first line, I thought he was headed to the kitchen!

That story about the piggies is unfamiliar to me.
