Why Earl?

Everyone needs a worry stone. I don’t have one. And that definitely worries me!

Does Earl do these nasty things on purpose?

I want a stone to transfer my worries to someone else!

How could anyone make that mistake even once? How could you survive to do it again?

Opal’s worry stone is like Br’er Rabbit’s laughing place.

I had a worry stone once. I always worried that I would lose my worry stone. I’m not longer worried.

It takes a worried man to sing a worried song….he’s worried now, but he won’t be worried long.

I don’t know about an acquittal for her linen napkins, but if they are the ones with embroidery that match my antique crocheted tablecloth, she’s free. And, it wouldn’t be the second time, because I would have killed him the first time.

A guy his age and he doesn’t have a shine bag with 40-yo brushes and 11 tins of dried-out polish in it?

I shine most of my shoes with Windex and a paper towel.

I still have some old Kiwi polish and a shoe brush for my antique leather loafers. The polish is dried out but a little water added makes it usable.

Earl: I’m guilty but do I get points for polishing your stone for you?

I remember that I have a worry stone around somewhere, but I’m not worried that I haven’t seen it lately. I’ll come across it again sometime and think, “Aha, there it is.” ;-)

A worry stone is a pet stone that missed it’s period.

You’re doing all WRONG, Earl. You smack your head with the stone until you become unconscious. Then you won’t have a worry in the world….at least until you get up and find yourself in a psychiatric ward restrained to a bed. ;-p
