I have heard of soldiers who could do that while on duty. They also usually got caught… and they then could keep their hind quarters in their footlocker… but still… it is a talented skill!
Which brings me to this question. Why is it that when someone makes a speech, there are dozens of mute idiots standing behind him not doing or saying anything? Politicians are the worst. Is it safety in numbers?
In the military, I learned to sleep in class with my eyes open. It didn’t help my grades but I didn’t get demerits. We were only getting six hours sleep at night for six months.
My Uncle Leo took this horse thing so seriously, that his wife became concerned and went to see a doctor. She said “Doc, I don’t know what to do… my husband thinks he’s a horse. He neighs like a horse, he eats from a feedbag like a horse – he even sleeps standing up, just like a horse!” The doctor said, “Why, this is serious! We’ve got to get him in here right away! How about tomorrow at 3:00?”. She said, “No Doc, tomorrow’s no good – he’s running in the 5th at Hialeah!”.
