Note for anyone who is worried about this happening to their turtle:

Real turtles can’t just slip out of their shells. The shell is attached them. They are attached to their shells. The shell is part of their body. The upper shell, the Carapace, is connected to the lower shell, the Plastron – and both parts are connected to its skeleton.

Do not care for this comic. Certainly things end well for John. The Count Likes Turtles and Turtle Lives Matter.
