The girl has excellent taste in “imaginary” friends! Too mamy to name, but how about her newest friends? Iggy, half under, half out from the table, lining up his toys. Ora Zella ON the table, deep in the throws of what must be a deliteful Catomile tea. Or perhaps Chatomile tea for the french.
When my sister Grace was 3-4, she had an imaginary friend named Allen. He was a little boy about her age. Grace would play very realistically with Allen, it felt almost as if we could sense where the boy was sitting based on how she handed him teacups and accepted little handshakes. They would laugh and run through the house. We’d listen to her side of long, elaborate conversations. …And then Allen began telling her things that no one could have known, that were revealed to be true a year or so later. (Heavy things related to a missing family member, who sadly it was discovered later had passed away…)
I was 11-13 during this time, and Allen scared the begeezus out of me, lol. However, I was polite when he was around and did partake in one or two tea parties. Some of the adults around us began to wonder if there was something supernatural to Allen… And then one day he left as mysteriously as he had arrived.
Now Grace and I talk about him like an old friend she had once, very long ago… And I know she misses him, and know wherever he might be, he misses her too.
I love this. I just wish The Girl had invited Sophie so she could have met Lady Jane. I know the Girl isn’t aware of Sophie’s report from the bureau, but it would have been nice to invite the new neighbors. Then again maybe Georgia ran out of room.

Instead of Elvis protecting The Girl, it appears The Girl is protecting Elvis. Or at least, he is hiding behind her.

I went down the rabbit hole looking for a mention of human names. Didn’t find it, but did find these:
Natasha, introducing herself as “Natasha, the Not to be Trifled With”
Lupin, after Elvis has hidden all the Valentine’s Day candy wrappers, digging them out and saying, “Let them fly free!”

IIRC, Angus last appeared in last year’s Halloween Sunday strip, holding the lantern to guide animals home to the BPH.

Love the pumpkin-themed tea set! And as much as I like pumpkin-spiced chai tea, I don’t think the cats would care for it much?

Imagine cups for seven
It’s easy if you try
Tea party, cute, not spooky
Sweet love when all come by
Imagine all the creatures
Smile with kids today
Ah
Iggy lines up sundries
Ora, Pucky sip tea, too
This party is to die for
Hey, try the witch’s brew
Imagine all the creatures
In after-life, without sheets
Boo
You may say the kids are dreamers
But they’re having so much fun
I hope someday we can join them
Good times have just begun

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Thomios: Tea and scones in the sitting room!
Elvis-Anum: I’m there!
Lupinium: Why the hurry?
Elvis-Anum: I just want to make the tea is nice and hot when I get there.
Lupinium: I’m glad it’s not because you want to snaffle all the scones for yourself.
Thomios: There are plenty to go around. I’ve even made some cheese scones from cheese of unknown origin.
Puckmosis: Will Wicket and Baba-Stet be joining us?
Thomios: No, they went to the Owl Temple to see the Hoops Tournament.
Puck: I’m glad we have this Wicket and not his descendant.
Elvis: Oh well, all families have their n’er do wells. Or n’er do owls, as the case may be.

So adorable that the children can see the ghosts, and other creatures not often seen. Do they understand the cats, too?
