Me thinks Tommy has a soft place in his heart for Sophie…but he’s too shy to express how he feels. Hmmm, a small romance in the future maybe?

If you haven’t already seen the commercial, ask the google to show you the video entitled The Woodland’s Most Wanted – Roasting Marshmallows l. I’m not trying to sell the product, but I love the commercial. Watching the CGI critters abscond with the marshmallows made me smile and keep smiling every time I thought about it.

Tommy is a pearl of great price. He is a true friend.

Tommy has always been the BEST friend to Sophie – wreslemania, artwork, moving, under the bureau, etc. It might be a shame to ruin a good friendship with romance. But how could you not love Tommy?

OT: My day so far…

Receiving good advice from Tommy would certainly benefit the world.

Everyone should have a Tommy in their life.

Indeed, there was a time I could have used one.

There are a lot of True Romantics in the orb, lol! But Tommy’s interests really do not align with Sophie’s. She is an indoor cat; he loves the outdoors. She is an introvert; Tommy is an extrovert. Sophie loves reading; Tommy loves meeting and interviewing other creatures. And there is the fact that they are both, ahem, neutered. Still, all you Romantics do you, and we will see where Georgia takes this!

My newest kitty Birdie who is still barely more than a kitten was face to face with a young raccoon through the French door this morning! I know our yard family of raccoons pretty well and this was a young stranger, presumably one of last year’s batch (they kick out the boys once they are weaned). Had clearly been living rough with one raggedy ear. Oh the sniffing, you can’t smell much through glass but both were surely trying!

Sorry truth is, regardless of health, at around age 70 you are living on borrowed time. You might be laughing and singing “The Pizza Song” one minute then the next.. curtains. No one of any age is guaranteed one more breath but this is ridiculous.
