No, No, No. This is too cute. So cute. Way too cute. I am flipping out and I have to keep telling myself it’s just a comic strip, so calm down. I just want to make a list of every sweet and adorable detail, but there are too many. Okay, I’ll pick one: Little Princess’s and Little Angora’s outfits. Especially wonderful and creative.
My wee brain is already overflowing trying to learn all the regular characters, so I’ve come to a compromise with myself. Instead of ignoring the soap opera arc, I’ll tolerate it for now but I’ll just switch my cognitive functions off and enjoy the yummy snacks in this room with the broken door.
Playing with orphans? What would Snowball think if he had paid enough attention to his kittens to know that they were behaving in such a common fashion?

So Kit was one eye cat from kittenhood itself? And me thoughts he lose it in a fight in the days when he was a secret agent cat or sometheeng like that? Or maybe it when be pirate cat perhaps? Note that not that me care or pay any attention to steenky soap that is. And the darn door just stay open see.
The last Christmas special we saw (not Pawmark, just Our IX Lives) began on 14 December 2016. That is where we learned about Paisley’s connection to the various characters, the Star of Second Chances (that That Guy Brad wanted to buy for Angora), and the secret of Princess Taggart’s actual father.
Beatrixia: Thanks for coming along with us to the oPyramid Library, Bev. Elvis-Anum will have fun transcribing these scrolls.
Beaver Lee Cleary: I’m looking forward to it. I’m sure Elvis and I will have some great discussions.
Iggy: And I’m looking forward to getting together with Iron Glove and Wally to design Lupinium-Proof shelving.
Enter Snowfall Braggart (Boo, Hiss)
Snowfall: That’ll be quite enough, Orb People. Now, hand over all your scrolls and your treasures.
Bev: These scrolls are the treasures.
Snowfall: And if you don’t want to see them burnt right before your eyes, I suggest you do as I say. Why else do you think I have this lit torch in the middle of the day?
Bea: Either let us through, or I’ll swat you silly.
Snowfall: Very well. I tried to be reasonable. Now those scrolls will be no more.
SPLASH!
Snowfall: My fur! It’s going to take me hours to dry off!
Enter several desert rats
First Desert Rat: We heard there could be trouble. I’m Joe Cotton, fabric merchant.
Snowfall: I know you used to be a highway robber like Amon-Merchant and Azibo.
Joe: That was before we met with some feisty kittens. It was more productive to go into retail.
From Georgia (picture of tiny Ora Zella sleeping on Goldie)“My girls Both of these cats are full grown. Look at their size difference! Goldie happens to be the biggest of the cats and Ora Zella is the smallest. She looks like a perpetual kitten, but she’s actually almost three years old! These two love each other so much. I often say Ora Zella is the glue in the crew, because each of the cats absolutely adores her and they all take turns hanging out with her. Wherever she snuggles up, a small pile is sure to follow. She really brings them all together.”
In the Woods, Kit and Princess wander around with the others for a while, and then they meander off by themselves. Seeing some other places, Kit plays at being a discoverer and investigates new paths with Princess following him. They find wonderful natural stairs, waterfalls, springs, trees, and finally, they run into some moles from which they flee, failing to mark their whereabouts. They try to find their way out and can’t. First Kit and then Princess realize that they are lost. Princess falls to the ground and cries while Kit tries to comfort her by telling her it is all his fault.
They begin to wander again, hoping to find a familiar landmark. Kit takes Princess’s paw to help reassure her. After a while, Princess has to sit down, and she falls asleep. When she awakens, she and Kit stumble on until they find a spring: Kit explains to Princess that they must stay close to water because the daylight is almost gone. They are both very hungry, and Kit shares a piece of cake that he had saved from the picnic. Suddenly, Princess realizes that her mother will think she is spending the night at the Orphans house and that they won’t be missed until sometime Sunday. They sleep again and then share the last bite of the cake. Suddenly, they hear voices in the background. The two begin shouting, but to no avail, and the sounds fade away.

Thanks for the tip that the last panel is the past. Front row, left to right: Bandit, Kit, Angora, and Princess(?). Who are the two in the back row?

Isn’t Princess married to the sea captain? I don’t remember where Paisley fits except for mom to Bandit’s kittens.
