This is a figment of Delta’s deranged imagination. She may very well become president some day, though I doubt she can do it with her idealism intact. She will not keep using her friends as loyal henchmen in her stunts forever. They can barely work up any loyalty now.

Just because I’m one of those “useless trivia” people, I’ll point out that Greg has done a nice job in panel 3 of picturing the “Resolute” desk, which has been used by most presidents since Queen Victoria gave it to the US in the 1880s.

Delta will not become president. The life in politics would eat her alive. Plus which, if she were still a decent, honest person, she would never be allowed to run, and if by some total complete miracle she won, she’d be shot sooner rather than later.

More than likely the USA will not survive until Delta could take office. It is 17.6 going on 18 trillion of debt. The southern border is now gone and the USA had now allowed all central American people citizenship; current citizens need not apply.

America is finished and the high school students of today were betrayed by many politicians in present Washington D.C. who deserve capital treason charges.

“she can choose to dedicate her life to selfless betterment of Mankind if she wishes” … I thought that’s what I said ….It probably was.Nonetheless, to some “So what if she becomes a stay-at-home mom? There’s greatness in that!” could be considered setting one’s personal joys above the needs of those who so desperately need a good leader..She might produce twelve of the greatest children the world has ever known, but at the expense of someone else guiding the free world, resulting in some bloody war which kills millions and millions of other children..She could have children and be President, but there is the danger she would not be there when her children needed her because she was off saving those same millions of other children..Every road taken leaves other roads not taken.Saying she has to take THIS road to greatness or THAT road to greatness is not up to us, but to her (and Greg Evans, of course).

No it shows us that if you work hard, you can achieve your dreams. It is not an insult, but a chance to dream and aspire to greater things. Stop viewing life as half empty and start enjoying the brighter side of things. You just might feel better about yourself and others will not feel depressed when you enter a room.

If the millions died while her imaginary children were growing up, they would be too late. They might save other millions but not THAT bunch. The imaginary children might also grow up to cause the deaths of those imaginary children, like Mao’s mother, Josef’s mother, Adolph’s mother. No way to know in advance, therefore silly to second guess a choice with so many variables and unknowns.??And regarding the ones thinking political considerations out of place in a strip contemplating a possible president, please reconsider.

Wow! What about this being the…. “chronicling”… of people in tiny “snapshots” from three different times- then, as compared to the now……. and the wondering of the ‘next phase’ for the three?…. – Or the ‘getting older’ part, even…

“♫….You may ask yourself: “Why don’t these pants fit me?”And you may ask yourself: “Where did my teeth go?” “No, really! I misplaced them!”And you may say to yourself: “I can’t wait to grow up!”Until you tell yourself: “Why did I do that?”You used to think to yourself: “Just wait till I’m older!”And you may say to yourself: “Waitaminit! How did I get here? I mean, what did I come in here for?” …♫"

To throw in my “two cents” about parents, – Parents are among the most responsible positions there are. The “molding and shaping” and character building for sports figures, entertainers, community leaders, etc. The rest may depend on the individual, but it all begins in the rearing.
