Actually, I thought they were called Republicans and Tea Partiers, and UKIPpers and Tories in the UK – bunch of ignorant, right wing bigots.

People are not born stupid. Society makes them that way. So it is our stupid society that is to blame. We are all part of society so we are all to blame.

I slowly began to realize that I had died and been deposited in the special place for the terminally stupid, to be taunted by demons of stupidity for all eternity. I remain quite certain to this day that some horrific mistake has been made, and that I was sorted to the wrong bin.

Rat the Sociologist is only partly right. Fortunately, the self-righteous know-it-alls may indeed zero out though non-reproduction. But not all who do reproduce above mere replacement are stupid; in fact, that smells of racist bigotry.

It’s worse than you think. People smart enough to realize that the stupid people are taking over make a point of not having kids. That just makes the stupid population grown even faster.

I absolutely hate it when some jerk takes a non-political cartoon and polarizes it. Too effin early in the day for that crap.

If it was actually true that stupid people breed more successfully than smart people, then smart people never would have evolved in the first place. This is a point that neither C. M. Kornbluth nor Mike Judge seemed to get, though it probably didn’t matter—“The Marching Morons” and “Idiocracy” were both really satirical critiques of advertising-and-entertainment-driven consumer societies.

There is truth in what Rat says. Intelligent, more advanced society’s recognise the dangers of overpopulation and limit the size of their families. This creates a healthier and better educated population……the rest breed like rabbits, failing to recognise they can’t even provide for their offspring.

This must be Pastis’ version of bear-baiting and I can only imagine he’s reading these comments and laughing about how we’re proving Rat right.

Yet, we tend to follow these people. The self absorbed/narcissistic celebrities, grab all of the headlines and people swoon over their lives. Some families need to evacuate the gene pool and the sooner the better.

Rat is actually right. Studies have shown that the higher the educational attainment of the woman, the lower the reproductive rate. Lower education = more kids.

Reading some of these comments, I’ve come to realize that the people who claim to be the most tolerant are the ones who are the least tolerant any viewpoint but their own.

A visit to the local Walmart will reinforce this observation.

Actually Rat’s findings make sense. Smart people take longer to find spouses, leaving them less time to reproduce, and consequently they have fewer offspring.

Actually, poor people in Africa, India, etc, have more children, but they live much more sustainably than the wealthy people having less children. So much so, that the wealthy people having less children, and their children, use way, way more of the earth’s resources, than the poor ones and their children.

The fact that low garbage IQ work like Naruto are so popular around the world just prove that the research which rat are conducting is correct.

They have to breed faster, to compensate for the Darwin effect.

We’ll in the Third Reich the same argument was used to encourage the Herrenrasse to breed more.

Nevertheless, as many a teenager can confirm, stupid people give birth to intelligent persons too. And as parents everywhere can confirm, this is true the other way round as well . . .
