It’s actually very hard to paint nudes; they keep squirming and saying, “Stop that!”

Rat, where are you? Pulverize Mr. Pastis for his lame punchline again… AFTER you’ve clothed him.

As Ed O’Neill’s Al Bundy character used to say, “I’m blind!”

Goat now looking for brain bleach to get that image out of his memory.

And we all wish Pig had been right in the first panel rather than the third.

Course on the plus side for Stephan, Pig’s sister Farina will probably be crazy for him now. After all, she once dumped Rat for Ziggy because “He’s a real man.” And he wasn’t wearing pants back then. She dumped a typically naked rat for a guy who ran around without pants, she’d probably go ga-ga for a guy in nothing but a ball cap.

Stacy? I think you’d better move away. Cartoon Boy has gone nuts…

For Pete’s sake, what the heck is all the yelling all about!? So Stephen is nekkid. Big deal! So are most all of the others. He should maybe have a towel to sit on, however…

Yes, it’s true. Rat, Pig and Goat are also butt nekkid. But, now that Toon Boy has joined them, like Pig said, that extra ‘S’ makes all the difference.

So OK. He’s painting nude. But WHAT is he painting? By the size of the brushes and paint can, it has to be something BIG!

Poor Goat. He will likely have to wash his eyes out for 15 minutes, then seek therapy… LIKE THE REST OF US!!!

Besides, painting nudes wouldn’t be that big a departure. He’s be drawing nudes for ages and they completely got past the sensors. Mommy! Mommy! Goat has no pants!

However to be honest, if I had been Pastis I’d have drawn larger paintbrushes. I mean, have SOME ego…

Given the number of “weekend Ts” I own with paint on them (I’m wearing one now) painting nude sounds like a good option.

There needs to be some kind of warning. I was eating breakfast!

Stephan is no longer one step ahead of the mob.

Nudity is comics is as old as comics themselves. Consider the following iconic characters:Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Foghorn Leghorn, Pepe LePew, etc.We even had humans — the “Love Is” couple comes to mind (though they had the same gonads of Barbie and Ken…)We could add the pantsless Donald Duck and Porky Pig.

But it wasn’t a full ‘S’, it was only a half ‘S’ display.

Goat’s expression is priceless. Nothing fazes Pig. Pastis naked should not be seen for any price.

It saves on the laundry bill

In a column to the right of these comments I see an ad that says, “Hire Stephan to Speak at Your Next Event!” Think carefully, my friend, think carefully.

I’ve heard of writers who write in the nude (I’m not one of them, but I’ve never heard of artists paining in the nude.

I see that Stephan uses the kind of paint brushes that are normally used for painting walls or door frames. I wonder what he is using for the detail work???

Same with commas! Entire children’s books are dedicated to the subject.

Can I join the brain bleach club? Might need some extra doses, too …

To my eyes he’s covered what could be considered the “naughty bits” unless you count the buttocks. More seriously, do pass that mind bleach! ;)

Several years ago, a friend of mine and his wife go to a beach in Santa Barbara where going topless is the norm. He looked over the boardwalk and saw his daughter.
