Jef? What’s going on? You’re drawing Frazz differently.

It must have felt strange using the old images once more. I prefer the more recent ones.

He’s drawn the way he looked 15 years ago…April 2nd 2001:

It seems like I’ve been reading this strip to 15 years. Isn’t it amazing how much better the drawing gets?Happy Anniversary Jef! And here’s to many more!

As I told you in another medium, you have a lot in common with Walt Kelly, and deservedly so. I wish you unlimited years and continued pleasure in what you do so well.

when I try to draw new characters I used to get so frustrated. when I look back on old strips it reminds me that it took quite awhile for some of my favorite characters to get their polished look

Janitors are memorable in schools. I’m 78, and still remember Mr. Bonesteel, my grade school janitor. He was quite a guy.

i remember him having tee’s with names of rock bands and clubs on them.

This is one of my favorite morning comics. I like having to think about it sometimes. 15 years? Dang! I have a lot of archives to dig through.

I have to sympathize with Mrs. Olsen. Caulfield is brilliant and entertaining to us, but she has had him as a student for at least 15 years.

Congratulations from me as well Mr. Mallet. And may the next fifteen years be as great.

This is a reprint. The art style is inferior to the modern strips, and the copyright date is 2006.

If this strip is going reprint, we should be told.

Or did he DRAW it the old way and post it with new lines for the characters ?
