Ned: What's with the flowers, Bob? You got a date? Bob: Let's just say I'm being prepared, Joe. Ned: Uh...prepared for what? Bob: In case your prediction continues to hold up. Voices from inside restaurant: My prediction about WHAT? Donald Trump. Ned: Ok...you lost me... Bob: A few months ago, you said there's as much of a chance Trump will still be in the race by spring as there is Jennifer Garner will walk through that door looking for a date. And since you're on such a roll, I'm gonna play it out! Ned: Y'know, there are easier ways to remind me about how wrong I was... Bob: Yeah, but not nearly as much fun.

If you looked at the reality, you would have known Bob was right. Trump says what every Republican thinks and denies thinking it. They make believe they aren’t crude but regulate bathrooms!

Someone should ask Bernie:If you are elected president and Hillary is convicted of her crimes, would you grant her a pardon?

I’d rather have Jennifer Garner walk in than Trump be in the running!

I’m less than thrilled with the top four candidates.
On the other hand, in my first time voting I cast my ballot for the most honest and moral man to hold the office in my lifetime.
Sadly; Jimmy turned out to be the worst president we’ve had in the last 100 years or so.

I am a Canadian who pays close attention to American politics and the 2016 elections are scaring the crud out of me. President Trump sounds disastrous and Prez Bernie abysmal.Prez Hillary – well, at least everyone will know she is lying when she speaks, so there shouldn’t be too many unwelcome surprises! It is the idea of Bill in the White House again that scares me……….Parents, lock up your Interns!

On the other hand, we have a Prime Minister who looks great in photos, knows how to pander, is about as deep as a puddle, and is probably going to be PM for many years, thanks to those who vote either with their emotions or on the basis of ONE issue only.North America, it was good to know ya’.

The U.S. has managed to survive the past 16 years and the 60s-70’s-80s. It’ll manage to keep going.

Here in Texas, I’m not worried. I know our current Boob in Chief, one Greg Abbot, who had the Texas Rangers and Highway Patrol whup the Yankee Army and Marines and sent them back Up Nawth with their tails between their legs when they invaded Texas last year. After all, Gov. Abbot has some big shoes to fill, Dubya Bush’s and Rick Perry’s. Rick Perry couldn’t figure out how to start a war, so he’s not much help. His war on women, poor people and Mexicans don’t count. He did try, with his talk of secession, but that kinds petered out. He backed down after the Yankees dug tunnels under all the Walmarts.Factoid: When Perry was spewing his saliva around and shooting crazed coyotes, I was in a rural Texas cafe, loaded with old men, who every morning stopped in for coffee and to swap lies. Every one of them are on some kind of government aid program, farm subsidies, Medicare, Social Security, wildlife management, water conservation programs, all have their fingers in the Federal Government’s till. These old idiots had just bought a boatload of Confederate flags from a roadside flag and rug seller.

Love Bernie, even voted for him in the primary, it was a hard decision. If he wins, great, but by having a strong running against Hillary will help her find the place she needs to be for the majority if that doesn’t happen. However, without a congress and senate willing to work and do their jobs correctly… midterms matter people. BTW, I don’t like the new trade deal, but boy, that seems to be the one thing the Republicans do like. As a woman, who could never be a mere ornament on a mans arm, I can relate to Hillary. In work, you often have to be twice as good as a man to be considered equal to him. Which makes no sense at all, but it sure worked to make women who on the surface made equal pay, still make less by working harder then their male counterparts. I quit worrying about that a long time ago. Figure equal pay, should also mean equal work. Sure Hillary has made mistakes, the greatest to me was going against her own better judgement and voting for the Iraq war. Although, one could argue 1 less vote would not have mattered, as ALL of the Republicans voted for the Iraq war. She is a strong woman and has come a long way owning the mistakes that were her fault. Like a woman, has even owned a few that weren’t of her making, think Benghazi, but took responsibility for what she was responsible for, standing her ground for that she was not. She stands her ground on the blatant false attacks that would have sent many men running for their mommies or screaming and finding someone else to point the finger at. So,from the current Democrat point of view, we have two very good candidates, but the Republicans have the ones that would lead us to their glorious Apocalypse so they can be seen glorious to their God. Ugh. Not to mention take away our individual freedoms and safeguards to protect their one true God, Money. Greed has destroyed nations and this time, if given a chance, may just destroy the world. Let’s not let that happen. The attack on us working stiffs is about power, they don’t like us comfortable in our lives, they want us to struggle and control us with our debt.BTW, as a footnote to an altogether long post:I really wish Dennis Kucinich had run again, but sadly, he would likely not have had enough ‘star power’ to pull it off. And let’s face it, probably too smart to do that again.BTW, I know you are, but what am I? is a non argument. Stop believing the lies.

The juxtaposition of comic strip figures and real people is a tad jarring … unless Wiley is using the strip to hint at a burgeoning relationship between himself and Ms Garner, with Bob in the strip being a stand-in for Wiley …

Hey Bob! A girl named Jennifer just called and said she’s sorry she’s late but she got stuck behind a logging truck and she’ll be here in 5 minutes.
