Interesting that Bernice does have other chairs in place, just in case there are more viewers who show up. Wonder if Gunther will end up in one of the ‘other chairs’?

Even minus Gunther, if Bernice’s plan actually worked she would be like the dog who caught the car: OK, so you got it (him) – now what?

This is getting into the category of cringe worthy.

So, I predict Piro and Gunther wind up sharing that 2 person Love Seat, bond over the movie, and start a bromance. Bernice gets to sit on one of the stacking chairs.

It’s going to turn out that everyone is into silent films right now but Barbarella is one of Piro’s favorites.

Something tells me that this event isn’t going to be all that “silent.”

This ought to be interesting on so many levels. I await developments.

It looked like a bad plan from the get-go, even before Tiffany talked Gunther into going to Bernice’s.

Chances are – Bernice is one to be allergic to all the body spray Gunther is wearing.

Reminds me of those Arrid deodorant commercials: “Get a little closer)….(♪)….”—And the other commercial, with the tag line: “Never let ’em see ya sweat!”.—Wow, getting to sit right next to someone, yet, at the same time, not being too nervous that you end up doing an imitation of a fountain in Kansas City, or developing an air hat has them wondering; “Is there a sub shop, nearby?”. Pretty tricky to pull off!…Especially if you’re Gunther….

Piro strikes me as the type who will sit on one of the chairs in the back, and not on the couch! And then what? Gunther on the couch.

I’m wondering if Piro will lie down on the couch and watch while Gunther and Bernice are stuck in the back on the folding chairs.

This is comic opera like The Marriage of Figaro. All we need now is for Tiffany and Dez to hide behind the sofa to see how their schemes are going.

Yeah, Piro and G-man will end up becoming friends. But I thought Tiff had the hots for G-man herself (as well as for Piro).

Bernice deserves what she gets for setting up a fake event under false pretenses. If you don’t want people to show up, don’t advertise it as a group event in the middle of the common room!

Bernice is getting exactly what she pretended she wanted. Maybe next time she’ll avoid convoluted schemes and just be honest about her desire to spend time alone with Piro. Though I doubt she’ll learn anything from this; after all, she’s already received the “learn to lighten up a bit” lesson multiple times and that one still hasn’t completely sunk in. She’ll just place all the blame on Gunther and Tiffany for “ruining everything” because they had the gall to take her at her word.

The ‘two roosters in the henhouse’ train wreck is about to begin.

As in Flanders Field, the poppies now come up strongly and in abundance in Afghanistan. They do so only because their seeds naturally wait for even many decades for soil to be very disturbed and bombing works well for that, but to us humans their blooms mean so much more.So we say, “Thank you.”

Her obsession with Piro is unhealthy. I can’t imagine her as a therapist as she practices manipulative ideas. Really not smart of her to believe that something like this would even lead to a relationship. I know there are speculations about him being gay. He could also be an undercover cop and be married.

I take it Bernice found a copy of Nosferatu.

We are in the weeks around Memorial Day. What if Piro already has a girlfriend, one who is serving abroad, and he worries about her?

It would be funny if Piro and Gunther bonded – while both ignoring Berniece. Well, funny and sad.

I think that what Dog was saying was that poppies are Veteran’s Day, but late May is such a natural time for plants that i invariably think of them then, too.When i was growing up many called Memorial Day by its original name of Decoration Day, a day for decorating the graves of the fallen and other veterans — more of a family thing except for the small parade in the area where i grew up, originally graves of the those who fell or served in the Civil War. Then it became Memorial Day, which also remembers the living who served in the military. It has changed over time, but it needs to retain its focus and not be hijacked.

Tiff’s bad deeds are so far in the past, only middle-aged people still hold a grudge. It amuses me.

If the gal you’re interested in is infatuated with a effeminate guy that’s always wearing a starfish in his hair… you’re S.O.L., and that’s fine because that gal has no sense.

The timing is interesting since the show is ready to start. Hopefully, that means the arc will soon speed up. It actually could. Here is the question: will this blow up enough that actual conversation and explanations take place, or is something slower and less direct such as people holding each other when frightened going to occur?There are a great many possibilities.

If I were writing this story I would have Tiffany watching as Piro shows up, then try to intervene on Gunther’s behalf— then discover that she really likes Gunther and decide she has to somehow fix her relationship with Gunther.

That is a spiral that defies an easy answer.

SOME are obsessed here with thinking Piro is gay.

That is a good look for Gunther. Frankly, Gunther can do better than Bernice. He already has with Rosa and Tiffany.

I guess that Dez misread the cards. Ooopsie.

I hate that poor Gunther is being set up to be hurt. He should wait for Piro to dump Bern & then ignore her when she turns to him for comfort.
