I’ll turn 59 in August. If 2017 was over, I’d be looking at the big 6-0 next year. I’m not ready to be 60! So I guess I’ll be just as glad to go through with whatever 2017 has in store for us.

I felt exactly the same about this old year! Seriously, think about what the heck happened THIS year!

Oh Aye garfieldfan1992, a presidential race where as Bill Maher put it," Roses are Red,Violets are Blue,it’s time to elect a socialist Jew". Bernie Sanders was the ONLY person for whom I would have willingly voted. Leaving us to vote for,as Russell Crowe put it in Master and Commander “the lesser of two weevils”. ANd then there’s the Lost of our beloved Princess Leia and then her Mum.I pray thee,please, Take this cup of bitter wine from me dear Lord,I beseech thee.

2016 was so terrible that I decided to write a “blog” to try to think of the good things that happened to me & mine during the year. I was able to think of at least one good thing for each month except for March. August was particularly good.

May 2017 be a damn sight better than 2016.

It;s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas.

I think the only one who made out well this year is Satan, the real master of the deal; Trump just soul-ed out.

I hope to go starting next month is NO MORE DEATH!! RIP, Debbie and Carrie!!

People keep wishing me a Happy New Year and others, and we’re still in December yet. Holidays always seem like they’re rushed anymore.

72 years ago, I was born…

Breach born and my dad was given the choice "the baby or your wife’…He chose my mom….They “hacked me out” and I survived…Have always been a pessimist….Born that way….This coming year is going to be one of the best for us pessimists….It already stinks!….
