So much for sympathy from Tiffany… then again, when has she EVER been sympathetic?

Okay, I guess we’re going to watch these two butt heads for a while.

And so it begins …

Wonderful growth and maturity on Tiff’s part. In the old days she’d be yelling and screaming.

But I do like the body poses and facial expressions in panel 3.

Tiffany: Can’t get dumped if you never have a boyfriend in the first place. (taps index finger against head)

Poor Tiff, she HAS been dumped – by her father for starters. She should just kick back and discuss her feelings with Gunther or, maybe even better, the insightful, life coach, Dez. At least she’ll get a hug from Dez.

“I’ve never been dumped, of course.” The old Tiffany won’t let go of the new Tiffany.

Tiffany’s helmet is a little frayed on the back in that last panel.

I bet Tiffany wishes Jack had broken her foot, so the shoe would be on the other foot. Jeez, did I just say that??

Other than the fact that Tiff has never worked a day in her life, what’s new?

Tomorrow should be interesting to see if Luann can hold the vase and walk with crutches at the same time.

Give Tiffany credit- she actually felt bad for Luann…when she thought Lu was getting dumped on top of a broken foot. But since she wasn’t the winner of Jack’s affection in their “eternal 1up! struggle”….well, Tiffany ‘spent up’ the credit- not surprising, since Tiffany’s very good at spending credit….

Such an odd character. She’s never been dumped because she’s never had a boyfriend. But she doesn’t seem to be aware of that herself. Always convinced that she’s a hot property, despite being always alone.

The “Old Tiff” would have “accidentally” DROPPED that flower vase, right on top of Luann’s broken foot. ;)

Tiffany, you’re busted, so the best you can do is make your exit just like that. Can’t give any credence to Tiff’s ‘feel bad for Luann’ over the broken foot. It was totally misplaced, disingenuous and gone after Luann explained what happened. I’m waiting to see how Luann handles the crutches with the vase of roses in one hand.

I have work to do. I need to cancel the break up sympathy bouquet that I ordered for Jack.

It is well-known that a glass of water eases any break-up blues.

For those who interpret Luann’s expression as smugness, I don’t see that. At most, I see annoyance, but my first interpretation was that Luann was just getting sick of the whole act Tiffany was putting on of feeling soooo much sympathy…

I thought graduating from high school would of changed all of this pettiness. Seriously its not amusing anymore. Let’s have some actual comedy

Luann should have added the word, “accidentally,” and it wasn’t all his fault. She was standing too close to him. Now Tiffany may go around saying Jack is physically abusive.

Some days Tiffany is less smart than her usual self.

okay so while I LOVE Luann, i’m getting a bit frustrated… Aaron Hill was middle/ high school, Q was high school/college, and now JACK? not to mention the whole Gunther/Nil & Bernice element… again…..At least when it was Bernice/Tiffany/Piro it was different.. (again poor Tiff never really gets the guy)

Color me disappointed. I was expecting a big catfight, struggling over the card, maybe Lu falling and breaking her arm. Or Tiff falling and spraining her ankle.

Random thought – Jack & Jill , Jack & Nil. Coincidence?

I’m way out of my field here, but Tiff seems to have many of the symptoms of an attention deficit/hyperactive disorder (ADHD). She can’t focus on her studies without Gunther guiding her, and she loses interest in any steady relationship. The one thing that she does well is concentrating on her hair, makeup, and clothes. She also jumps from Quill to Piro to Jack, and then seeks refuge in Gunther. She’s a party girl that likes to move around.

who feels sorry for Tiff? Hmm. no one?

“….Yes Tiff you have work to do; you are losing your touch, or maybe you never had any…… …” Is it possible that we will ever see Tiffany in a moment of self-reflection. Both Bern and Luann have shown the ability to self-evaluate, but not Tiffany. Greg hasn’t allowed for that yet.

At least no one will ever try to make Jack go bowling again.

Poor Tiff! Of course she’s never been dumped: she’s never had a boyfriend! Once she gets over her embarrassment, the snide behavior of panel 4 will fade and she will again be Luann’s best frenemy….

A few months ago, somebody created a javascript link that would open all the replies here at once. And it worked well for a while.

Then GoComics reprogrammed its comments section. And since then, when I click on the javascript link (which I have bookmarked), it takes about 40 seconds to open all the replies for a full day, during which time the replies scroll up and down, up and down, up and down, enough to give a person motion sickness. (Just to be clear, I don’t blame the person who created the javascript for this; I just don’t want to be misinterpreted.)

Here’s what the javascript looks like now:

Just tell Gocomics to do that, let you open all the comments. There already is a hide all function. How about opening all function? Tell them in a nice way.
