I don’t think we’ve ever seen Lupin so angry!

I feel sorry for the woman, having to cart around a vacuum cleaner in her condition.

How dare The Woman vacuum away all the beautiful kitty hair you so lovingly used to decorate that couch! It was such a purrsonal touch!

and they worked so hard getting all that fur on the couch .. and the tower … and the rug ..

Lol, an outraged Lupin in panel 2 – - I have it on very good authority (i.e. saw a video of Lupin Georgia posted on fb) that Lupin would have no earthly idea the vacuum was invading his space if he hadn’t seen it. :P All those lovely balls of fur getting all sucked up! For shame!

The vacuum cleaner doesn’t have its usual menacing expression. It doesn’t look happy, though.

All the fur is gone? One of my cats would re-fur their house in no time at all. His main purpose in life is to transform perfectly good protein in to purrfectly good and long hair. This hair is then deposited throughout the house in amazing efficiency.

With no fur on it, the couch could belong to anyone, or no one! Anyone coming by might think it is unowned and just take it! All that work to properly mark it, GONE in an instant. There is no appreciation for fine workmanship nowadays!

Might have to leave a more permanent sign of ownership. Boys! Claws at the ready! Set! SHRED! >^.,.^<

Yeah Lupin – it’s one thing to have the evil vacuum suck up People spills and messes but when its terrible sucking power gets turned on beautiful cat fur – the claws will come out.

I ventured out on Saturday before it got too bad, looked outside yesterday and said no thank you, today I need to venture out for a little bit. Wish me luck so I don’t fall and break something!

OMG… This is so true! But my cat’s fur (and my “fur” xD) always win this battle with vacuum cleaner. I dunno how it will be with two cats! (But, maybe I’ll know it very soon)

my Lexus runs from the nasty machine while her pug sister from another litter, will chase it, then when it’s severely reprimanded she will tell Lexus all is well.

Greetings from wintery Wisconsin…Friday and Saturday lots of rain, Sunday and today lots of snow, with a windchill of 16. Is there a spring out there?Miz Furbie runs when I get out the vacuum cleaner, but doesn’t flex a hair when I use the Ninja blender, which is at least as loud! Cats are strange.

As a single guy, I had two cats, and learned about the vicious Florida flea. When I grew up in NJ, there were fleas on occasion; you threw your clothes in the wash and thought nothing of it (and the cats had their collars). Florida, though: nasty (this was before those new-fangled drops between the shoulder blades). I kept that apartment vacuumed like nobody’s business. The cats minded that less than when I did the first de-flea, with so many chemicals they refused to walk on the carpet and would leap from chair to table to couch to make it through.

I get the look of righteous indignation and betrayal if I just lint-roll the bed… I think Kaboodle is relieved enough to have survived the vacuum-rampage that the loss of fur-marking is a minor price to pay, because she’s never seemed upset by it.

Great comic for shedding season! (Yes, I know every season is shedding season, but Spring is when cats turn their shedding up a notch!)

I have no doubt that the boys will replace all the hair as soon as the vacuum is put back. I mean AS SOON AS it is put away. That happens in my house. No sooner than I sweep all the floors and vacuum the one rug all 4 kitties shed every last little hair they can at once. I think it is a magic trick or something that all cats can do and they have a sense of humor about their timing. I don’t see the humor but they do.
