Tiffany has an agenda, which will be revealed later. Both of these boys are naive and delusional if they think tiffany is going to give them what they want. She is using them to get what she wants and only what she wants. She hasn’t changed and likely never will.

Okay, let’s talk about possible “Outcomes” here.

To Me the WORSE Possible outcome would for Tiffany to “Friend-Zone” BOTH Guys. Why? Because they would continue to COMPETE indefinitely for her attention. And now that Tiffany has reverted back to the “old” Tiffany, she would continue to play BOTH guys like a Stradivarius.

Best Possible Outcomes:

1) Tiff chooses one guy over the other. Either one. Although I hope it’s Gunther. If she picks Le$, he’s only rub that fact in Gunther’s face EVERY chance he gets for YEARS to come. Heck, he’s already STARTED doing just that, today and last week. But if she picks one, the other will grumble and Move on, Sadder but hopefully Wiser. And I REALLY hope that in THAT case, G&K have a Love Interest(s) waiting in the wings for the “loser” BEFORE Irma gets the notion to have another one of those Soul Destroying “family dinners,” and tells the lads to invite a guest.

2) Tiffany stands both guys up because she accepts a last minute “date” from Jack. This time BOTH guys would grumble, but see Tiffany for who she truly is, but MOVE ON and meet other NEW Young Women. And there’s a 50-50 chance #1 will get his wish and Rosa suddenly and inexplicably return. (’Though I HOPE Not)

3) Tiffany announces Her Dad has married Ann and EVERYBODY is Now “family.” Game called off on account of rain, but the playing field is now leveled. With a Bulldozer. Le$ now has a step sister, and Gunther has a step cousin. And BOTH have a young woman they CARE about but no longer have to compete over. Win-Win. And all three can move on.

I kinda Hope it’s number #3 because I REALLY wanna see the Epic Berger/Gray Thanksgiving Day Massacre, with Ann as the “Guest of Honor.” ;)

GnK has wasted so much ink on this trivial step brother banter? It’s been going on since the move-in/yard sale episode and it’s wearing thin.

To let this go on for so long without a worthwhile payoff at the end would be a serious mistake.

I don’t recall Tiffany expressing romantic interest in either of these guys, and they have never given her any reason to.

Tiffany is going to be very upset if Les does not have any actual dessert for her. She is expecting cake or cookies, not sex. I think Gunther will come to the rescue with a homemade dessert for her.

I doubt Tiffany is interested in any romance with Les. And Gunther always has been a friend. Les invited Tiffany over and since Tiffany was already going to be there for the dinner date, she accepted because she was already going to be there anyway, not because she wants a romantic evening with Les.

This is near straight out of an old Odd Couple episode where Felix and Oscar were dating the same gal at pretty much the same time.

Glad to see good oral hygiene being promoted. :)

The only other obvious thing to report is that they both now realize that Tiffany scheduled sequential sessions with them. To what purpose and end? Who the hell knows at this point. I do not think even the “original” Tiffany would schedule back-to-back dates with two gents living in the same household. And, I definitely do not believe for even one moment that the “new & improving” Tiffany would do that either.

I also believe the “new & improving” Tiffany would not schedule a “date” with either Les or Gunther and sequential meeting with the other…. with them living in the same house. She would not, in her current state, be so unthinking.

So… I am of the belief that she currently has NO ROMANTIC intentions for either fellow. And, this will aggravate to know end, both Les and Gunther…. both of whom will probably do a variety of one-up-manship, puppy-like, stupid things to try to garner her attention.

I agree with your conclusion Pipe, she has no romantic intention for either of these bozos, but she is a friend, and likes their friendship, only, very much.

Again I could have sworn I left a comment earlier, but then this has been such a busy day maybe not. This a continuation panel in the arc, and is funny. It leads up to when Tiffany does arrive, if she arrives. She might stand either one or both of them up. But I agree with the sentiment of some that in her mind it’s not romantic, its friendship. Maybe in Luannverse it might be, but I bet we will be wondering about that for quite awhile.
