So Elvis WAS listening, even if he wasn’t seeing.

No question in my mind… in a battle between Tillie and Tabitha, I’m putting my money on Tillie…

“My friends call me Tillie, you can call me Matilda!” Ouch!

There were only a few things Megan disliked more than a genuinely bad cat. One of those things was a gloating, genuinely bad cat. She drew a deep breath and rolled over on her back, grabbing Mr. Nibbles around his neck with her front paws. Then, she flipped him on his side and began a series of intense rabbit kicks to his belly. “I’ll show you some long term damage!” Megan growled, and deftly pulled one ear plug out. “AAAAH!!” Now it was Mr. Nibbles turn to writhe on the floor. This bad cat still had a move left, however. Capitalizing on his weight and the slick, hardwood floor surface, Mr.Nibbles was able to spin away from Megan and was now facing her at a distance of about three feet. All three cats were in similar positions, wanting to keep an eye on the other and not wanting to give up an opening. But, there was a wildcard about to be played…

Elvis finds a cat who can actually drive Tabitha up the wall… I think this may be the start of a beautiful friendship!

So, they’re NOT friends?

“Trouble in the attic”. Now they know – or should know – they’re doomed.

Don’t be scared, Elvis, she’s very nice and caring.

Oh, poor Elvis. Frightened for Puck AND seeing Tillie all in the same moment can’t be good for his fussy equilibrium.

Where did Elvis learn to use a pool cue?

Yup, Tillie was beating up Tabitha yesterday and she’s just let her know who the tougher female is. Here’s one for Tabby

And you don’t pick a fight with ghosts!

On a different note, I love how Elvis isn’t Tillie’s friend at the moment. Guess if he hadn’t so rudely ignored her when she was trying to get him to help rescue Puck he’d have been able to call her Tillie. But right now that honor is Puck’s (and Freddie’s and Aggie’s). Wonder if she’ll let Lupin call her Tillie as he didn’t try to ignore her earlier. Just love his scared/worried look in the last panel. But is it because he’s scared of Tillie or worried for Elvis? I know he’s worried about Puck, but in that panel with Tillie popping down through the ceiling and Elvis trying to hide I don’t think the look is for Puck.

Poor Lupin, so confused!

Can I call her Tillie? I’m her friend, right?

Good to know your full name, Miss Matilda! Do you, perchance, like to waltz? Oh come on, somebody had to ask!

And now we get to find out if Lupin, one of the two cats we haven’t been shown is able to see Tillie, can actually see her. Poor guy’s probably royally confused regardless, since Elvis isn’t at an angle where the whiskers can be read.

Is that the pointer for the charts & graphs, or a kitty-sized pool cue?

Miss Tillie is bringing the Snark!

LOL! Umm I guess Elvis isn’t quite yet on her friends list. Tabitha definitely isn’t. Tillie’s friendship is not so easily bestowed—it must be earned.

Question: Trying to tell the wife about Tillie’s demise in the old house – when was it published? There was a very nice story line there, but I can’t remember when.Norm

I dunno. Lupin’s expression in the last panel made me giggle out loud.

Ooh, Elvis has been not-friend-zoned!

I know this is rude to ask, but has Elvis, umm, gained some weight? Or does he just chub up in the winter months like my big guy?

And so Millie – excuse me, Miss Matilda – begins to collect her rag tag band of rescuers to come to Puck’s aid. Can they find Puck? Will they be in time? Will the Boys miss breakfast? Stay tuned …

Tillie and Tabitha will never be friends I fear, although, I think Tillie does like Elvis. She just wants him to know that she was/is an Alpha female also. The Boy’s are on the case now but they will need the Woman next.

When ever I see one of my cats just staring at nothing that I can see, or their heads pop up and track something that is invisible to me, I wonder if it is the spirit of one of our cats that crossed over?

Good morning and happy Wednesday/Hump Day, orbsters and orbabies! I see Elvis is a bit gobsmacked in the last panel – let’s chalk one up for Tillie – and Lupin is confused and maybe a little scared. Let’s hope that tomorrow they can all settle to the matter at hand.

Buzzy Mouse is looking worried, even with Lupin keeping him close.

Serious question, as a lipreader myself: if Tillie is semi-transparent, how will Lupin read her lips? Although, I suppose, this is Tillie and she’ll find a way to do whatever needs to be done.

“Oh, you got trouble. Way up in the attic. With a capital T, and that rhymes with C. That stands for Cat. You’ve surely got trouble. Way up in the attic. Gotta find a way to get the cat down out of that.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if during all this commotion Puck somehow found a way out of the trunk himself.

I just adore how Tillie is halfway through the ceiling in the last panel. Way to go, sunshine!

And clearly it was Tabitha letting loose yesterday… everything bleeped for the benefit of our younger viewers!

Tillie is hotter than a two dollar pistol.

My big guy Jasper needs some orb bumps. He broke his leg running yesterday (on what I have no idea). He’s sacked out on the couch but getting 145lb dog in and out and up and down is hard when you live by yourself and have a really bad back. Yes I am trying to sleep on the end recliner of the couch next to him. I’ll be with him there until he can get up the 2 steps into the rest of the house. I put a dog bed down in the sunken den for my Weim and of course all 4 cats came to check on us. He needs all the healing thoughts he can get. Until then he’ll get his pain meds and we’ll be in the den.

I can almost hear a bugle sounding ‘charge’. Help is on the way, Puck!!!

We had a long haired tortie named Matilda, because she looked like she was waltzing when she walked.

Once a brave kitty cat explored in the attic

“Here’s a good place to nap,” said he.

But then he heard a crash and the lid closed in on him,

Fortunately Matilda was there to see.

Ghostly Matilda, Matilda me darlin’

Have you come to rescue me?

“Yes, I will get your friends and the will come and help you.”

“I’ll wake them up, and no problem, you’ll see.”

Tillie and Agatha went down to the apartment floor,

“Elvis, Puck needs you at once,” said she.

But Elvis refused to believe, even after morning coffee.

“This is an ordinary day,” said he.

“There is no Tillie, there can’t be a ghostly cat.”

“I’ll just ignore it, there is nothing to see.”

I don’t believe you are there, you can’t be

“Well if you won’t help me then I’ll just wake up Tabitha.”

“She may be angry, but she doesn’t scare me.”

In came Lupin, carrying a note from Puck.

“Puck didn’t come down for breakfast,” said he.

“Oh, no we must get some help, I’ll ask Miss Tillie now.”

“After the cat fight with Senora T.”

There’s trouble in the attic, said he.

“Yes, I’ve been telling you, you need to help Puck right now.”

“Call me Matilda, you must respect me.”
