Earl is sure a bright ray of sunshine !
“Memory is the second thing to go. I can’t remember the first.”
Keys are more safe than Earl is at this point!
Earl and Opal need a key rack by the door (front door or door that leads to garage).
My wife loves to put things in a really safe place.Someday maybe we will find it.
Why did she give them to Earl? Does she use a key chain or is the car key separate from other keys?
Give him another key and tell him to put IT in a safe place.
Odds are the other keys will already be there.
Bluetooth trackers save the day around here…
You’ll never see those keys again.
Hard to believe Opal gave Earl anything…….Car keys are always in my pocket …… all other keys have their own peg :-)
“They’re in the whatsit, next to the thing.”
The spouse forced me to put up a copper container on the door frame to put our vehicle keys in, but she never uses it. We have been looking for the set she lost months ago. Electronic keys are quite costly.
They are certainly safe from Earl anyway.
We have a fire-proof safe we use for important stuff.
I use a carabiner and put them on my purse. ALL THE TIME. Haven’t lost them yet.
My wife works I don’t I went out of town for two days she rearranged the whole house that she never uses and now I can’t find a thing
“Oh! That’s right. They’re in the safe.”
Yup went on a cruise last year my husband put his credit cards and such in a safe place – we’re still looking for them
Somewhere in my house there’s a box of 500 wooden toothpicks. I definitely know I put it in the desk drawer. I suspect a poltergeist.
I drive a car nobody with self-respect would steal and have the key tied to the shift lever.
I hid my mother’s diamond ring in a clown nose and put it in a locked desk drawer when I went out of town. Found it a year or so later….
Check the ignition.
Depending on what kind of driver she is, if its the keys to his Studebaker, he might have an excellent reason to hide them
We bought a really nice key rack to keep our keys on and avoid this from happening. Problem is….we’ve never hung up the key holder !
I’ve done this many times with my stuff too.
Been there, done that too Earl!
