Brad asked his sister what to get his wife for Christmas, huh? Is the world coming to an end?

What! Brad and Toni – and no Shannon!

Luann has earned a place in Brad’s life as a real sister, not a little brat for him to pick on. Brad finally see value in Luann even if it’s for a gift for his wife. The siblings have grown up.

Luann knows what Toni likes in clothing, which is not too surprising considering that Luann has decided to adopt Toni’s hair color and possibly Toni’s choice in hair dryers.

G & K: Enough holiday off. Go back to work on your good subplots.

As usual Luann can solve everybody else’s problems, but her own.

If this is going to be a Christmas roll call and each day has some faces that have been missing, that would be okay with me.

Ah. This is a far, far cry from the constant bickering Brad and Luann used to do. And considering the low opinion Toni had of Brad when they first met, who would have dreamed that Toni would be giving Brad an affectionate smooch 16 years later?

Just goes to show that there may be some hope for the “down trodden” in this Strip.

Brad is lucky to have a sister who can advise him on what his wife might like in clothes. I agree with theDoctor, immediately above this comment, which is that at some point in 2019 pregnancy will be announced. It probably will be Brad and Toni, and not Al and Irma!! Could be both though.

Most Sisters and Sister-in-Laws can tell their Brother what the wife wants for a Christmas present.

Once again Luann has shown her skill set—noticing the details that make something work or not work. She probably considered not just Toni’s size, but how it distributes and what cut would best compliment that shape, what color would compliment her skintone, and what would fit her lifestyle. Sure, sometimes Luann gets overboggled with details, but I think Jack could anchor her.

It’s been so long since we’ve seen Toni, her hair has grown twice as big.

Personally I think it’s a pretty ugly top but I guess Luann knows Toni’s taste in clothes.

As the “Thank you” got smaller, so did the response.

Nice to see Brad and Luann’s relationship mature. Reminds me of how, seemingly overnight, the constant bickering and fighting with my younger sister gave way to the occasional joke, lighthearted banter and more serious support for each other through life’s many ups and downs. We can’t resist calling each other by some of the old names now and then, though! :)

Seems like someone forgot to take off the price tag though.

What is that in Luann’s hands? It looks like some kind of ocarina! Someone mentioned hairdryer, but surely Greg can do better than that… if it is supposed to be one.

My wife wanted a hair dryer for Christmas too. I refused to buy it … past experience told me she’d use it once or twice and then would either return it or let it sit unused while she went back to her old one.

Let a girl shop for the girl!! … Smart thinking there, Brad!! :)

Shannon story lines..remember the old adage..always quit while it’s still fun.

That shade of plum looks very good on Luann.

Hmmm, is the red component in her hair decreasing with age as does happen in real life to those of us who once had combos that involved blonde and red? (Mine was primarily blond with sparks of red strands when I was young into young adulthood with those strands eventually going brown, and a friend who was strawberry blond when a teen turned blond with age.)

So, we have come full circle. :-)

Brad and Luann are so cute together. Bookends. Much sweeter than the stereotyped sibling bickering.

I once gave a girlfriend a top that she loved.

I never told her that the place where I bought the Much “Sexier” Outfit that she didn’t like nearly as much threw in the one she Liked as part of a “Buy One, Get One” sale.

Nice to see that Luann did some Christmas shopping on Brad’s behalf. Sibling cooperation can be even more fun than sibling rivalry….

Now, as we continue this gathering of unusual hair styles, Brad looks like a young boy overwhelmed by a beautiful and more mature woman. Keep smiling, fireman, things could get very hot.

We need another Brad and Toni story arc. The best in this series was the one leading up to their wedding. I would like to see them have an adventure, minus Shannon.
