Amen, Charlie! I hate rain too – and I really get strange looks because I live in Arizona, where 99.9 percent of the population goes absolutely gaga-nutty-BONKERS in silly gleeful joy over the least bit of rain. Yeah, I get it, water shortages and all that….but at the same time, a single day of rain at a time is all I can handle. Once in a while we get a lingering system that hangs on for a few days…by day three, anyone who tells me “we need the rain” risks getting PUNCHED! :) (Spent 40 years in Michigan before moving here…up there I suffered through enough rain (and worse!) to last for five lifetimes as far as I’m concerned).
