Nana Power!!

Did Nana just pull a Jedi mind trick on Elvis? :-O

Now that’s Mom Power for you!

Moms develop these powers early in their careers.

That’s what happens when the Queen Cat visits the Princess.

She is the One True Nana!

She’s GOOD!

Nana has eyes in the back of her head!

“Don’t even think about it,” was one of the phrases to which Jasper would respond. I could almost hear him grumbling under his breath, “I might not do it right now, but you can’t stop me from thinking about it, and you will have to fall asleep eventually.”

Aunties have that power too, I constantly confounded our niece when she was a young teen (she’s all grown up now :( )

All Elvis’ plans to tap The Nana are … um … sort of … bound to fail.

Nana power comes into its own when they have their own people kittens. They sense mischief, like a disturbance in the force.

My guess is that Nana loves Elvis the most but also understands the value of a little gentle but firm discipline. And just incidentally it helps that Nana can read cats’ minds.

I think Nana must be related to my Mom.

Today is my son’s wedding day!

Happy Friday the 13th! Hugs and thanks for all the encouragement yesterday, y’all are the best! ♥️ I only got about an hour of sleep, but the procedure went well and some questions were answered. Nothing too serious. Small hiatal hernia, couple of “itises”, biopsy to see what is causing the gastritis. I vote for long-term stress but we’ll see.

Afraid of Nana. Definately afriad. And trying to figure out where her second pair of eyes is.

Reminds me of this morning-walked into the kitchen to do a little prep before taking the youngest to class. Sally come trotting through, headed to the basement (aka Kitty Town) for breakfast and a lav visit. 1 minute later, Schroeder starts through (he has a very poor idea of personal space when it comes to Sally), and I say, quietly but firmly, “Don’t.” Schoeder stops, looks at me, looks at the basement door, then turns around and heads to the living room. Skyy (the dog), looks at me as if to say, “You’re good!”

I’ll have a cup, please.

It’s 95° in the shade, and the flashing side ads are showing me winter coats with fur lined hoods.

Update on Skywalker – We’re definitely making progress! She has rubbed against my legs three days in a row when I fixed her breakfast. This morning, she even allowed me to run my hand over her back while she ate.

Has anyone mentioned that Elvis has done a very “cat” thing? He raised his paw to bat, and when called on it, he pretended that he was going to lick it all along!
