In light of the discussions of how a TNR cat is marked as steralized, I found a picture of one on one of the kitty sites which was talking about a TNR mother and her baby. The shot has a clear focus on her right ear (to our left). My goodness. I didn’t realize Tupperware can have designs/pictures on the lids. Well, that solves that puzzle. And not rick rack, pipe cleaners, which makes more sense. I’m really anticipating the continuation of this story.

It’s so cute how these cats are all (except Lupin) willing to help Goldie get the answers she needs and they haven’t even met her yet, just seen her outside their windows or get more info on her by listening to her recordings.

On another note, I heard from Shaunn Munn yesterday. She is doing a bit better although she is working through some physical issues right now, and she says hi to everyone. She will be back eventually, just not yet.

Paul and I went to the doctor the other day. I got a clean bill of health (except for my ongoing physical issues which must be borne); Paul is having a few issues and will be referred to the appropriate specialists for further testing.

Love! This! Gotta have flare. And are those empty TP rolls on his arms???

Sophie’s skills in the creative arts cannot be denied . . .but that extension cord worries me!

At the risk of being politically incorrect, is there a raccoon (or cat) equivalent to “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”? If not, this would make a great pilot episode.

This solves another mystery- when Georgia revealed the poster for this storyline, people speculated why Tommy and Beatrix weren’t in the picture. But now if you look up at the top just below the owl, there is Tommy in his disguise with the mushroom armor! I guess Beatrix was busy at the bookstore.

PS- or maybe the small “ raccoon” next to Tommy in the picture is Beatrix also in disguise?

Since Natasha is all over this, I’m wondering if she’s going to accompany Tommy on his undercover mission. She is, after all, wearing a mask.

…Personally, I think that Tommy will come off as so suave and debonair that the Raccoon Queen may end up falling in love with him…

The raccoons will look at Tommy, see the mushrooms on the lid and figure he’s cool since he’s obviously a fan of the Allman Brothers Band and thus will leave him alone.

I can see movies, books, and merch featuring Tommy. Move over, Kit Chase.

Referring to someone yesterday in the orb whose cats preferred the shipping box to the new cat bed, I advised them to return the box and keep the bed. Today Hubby received a large shipping box A containing a smaller shipping box B containing a smaller item box C. We have 3 cats, one of whom is a large Maine coon. I unpacked the 3 boxes and left them all empty in the living room. The 3 cats all investigated them. We ended up with 2 smaller cats in box B and the big Maine coin squished into tiny box C. They ignored big box A.

No no return the bed and keep the box!!!

I love Sophie. So much.

Tommy’s armor looks suspiciously like “merry mushroom” corningware to me. I know “cornflower” is the most popular but as far as vintage patterns go I’m a Spice of Life girl – when I’m not using my everyday 40’s era Pyrex cookware and bowls. :)

Is that the “Merry Mushroom” pattern?

OT are there any “stink bug whisperers” out there? I need someone who speaks their language to spread the word among the little creeps that I really don’t want to kill them and if they want to live all they need to do is stay out of my house and my car and especially my washer :(

Had a blackout yesterday so I missed this yesterday. And on the 16th I thought she was showing HER costume, not having dressed poor Tommy up as a vile raccoon. I say what I said today, she’s a COWARD!
