If the moon was made of cheesecake, we’d be living there already – 3, 2, 1, blast off!!! (It could even be green, if you like – is there lime cheesecake? I’d eat that.)
Those are some beautiful blue-purple blends on the night sky. Kudos, Georgia, on those colors! I spent part of the evening painting a couple of little models, and I’m jealous. (Although I suppose my little wolves wouldn’t have looked very realistic in blue and purple…they’d have been pretty, though!)
Oh look at that! Tommy’s Woman is able to carry Tommy in her arms but poor Sophie has to be in a carrier! And on a different note, I wish I could run a cat daycare!
The women know that Tommy and the boys get along well together, but maybe they don’t realize that Sophie has already met the boys crew via their network.
I just want to say again, thank you Georgia for creating BCN! By doing so, you’ve allowed your followers (the Orbsters) to become a kind and loving ohana for all! I’m bringing this up now because it suddenly occurred to me that nowdays we wouldn’t even be able to gather for cheesecake and friendship! We would be considered irresponsible for getting together and maybe spreading COVID-19! At least here in the BCN comments section, all you Orbsters give me a reprieve from the madness surrounding us now! Thank you everyone, luv ya all!
In comic world everything is still OK. But in the real world, remember, social distancing! Don’t invite your friends over, eat each your own cheesecake in your respective homes and absolutely no tussling! I’m serious about that. All sport events are off for now. Stay healthy and stay safe and protect the people who will be especially vulnerable to this virus by slowing down its spread.
Sophie looks a little apprehensive; has she ever met the clowder?
I hope you are all doing your best to keep safe these days. I am mildly apprehensive about going out to get groceries at the end of the month when our pensions come in. There is some stuff I’d like from WalMart (but don’t necessarily need), so I doubt I’ll be doing my groceries there. I hope the grocery store which is nearest to us will institute the practice of keeping an hour or so reserved for people over 65 and people with disabilities.
The coronary guidelines say that children and the elderly ( over 60) are the most vulnerable. You have heard me say before that I am 14 years older than Hubby. He gleefully teased me last night about me being “vulnerable” while he is not. I told him I am delighted to act very childish again!
O.T. Maybe some good can come from the current restrictions. We’ll all have a little more time to enjoy the arrival of Spring. We have lots of the beautiful little Eastern bluebirds here, and I have been watching one with especially vibrant feathers in my yard. Enjoy the soothing power of nature!
My daffodils are trying to bloom. Weather has been gloomy for several days and several more days to come. I could handle the isolation better if we had some sun!
It reminds me of the ladys’ bookclub on LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. The secret is they don’t talks about books, and no one talks about bookclub. (FIGHT CLUB reference)
Today is Awkward Moment Day. This must mean that it is made entirely of awkward moments, but so far I haven’t had a single one, today. So disappointing.
There is a card game by the name of Awkward Moment. Deal.
How do you handle awkward moments? Don’t let this be an awkward silence.
O.T. For something to do if you love opera. Because the Metropolitan Opera is closed, they are streaming operas from their website https://www.metopera.org/
O.T. From Georgia’s Facebook: “Hello everyone!! Today is my sister Grace’s birthday! You know her in the comic as “the Intruder”! Did you know she is also a history lover? Not to brag, but my sister has devoured history since she could hold a book and she has more stories, interesting facts, and “did you know” information than anyone I’ve ever met—especially when it comes to WAY RAD HISTORICAL WOMEN! Recently she began an Instagram to highlight cool women of yesteryear and I thought for her birthday I would share it here for anyone who also loves history and would enjoy following it! Many of us are trying our best to homeschool right now, and I thought this could also be a help on that front! You can find her Instagram featuring interesting women throughout history here: @theherstorybuff I hope you enjoy it!!! Happy birthday Grace, you are a treasure in any time period!!”

@Gloria,
You asked how we are coping with the virus in Australia. So far the following points have become clear.
1. The best way to stay safe is to wrap yourself in toilet paper.
2. We must stay 1.5 metres away from other people. A long, pointy, stick helps.
3. Coronavirus can count. We are safe until we get more than 99 people gathered together. Add one more, and the virus will pounce.
4. We’re doomed.

And now, a lesson from Sesame Street
C is for cheesecake,
That’s good enough for me,
C is for cheesecake,
That’s good enough for me,
C is for cheesecake,
That’s good enough for me,
For Cheesecake, Cheesecake, Cheesecake starts with C!
…….
A cheesecake with several slices out of it looks like the letter C,
And a pizza with several slices out of it looks like the letter C,
But it’s not as sweet as a cheesecake, no it’s not as sweet as a cheesecake!
And the moon sometimes looks like the letter C,
Yes the moon sometimes looks like the letter C,
But you can’t eat that!
…….
And T is for Tussle, that’s good enough for me,
T is for Tussle, that’s good enough for me,
T is for Tussle, that’s good enough for me,
Oh, cheesecake, and Tussle, what could go wrong?
