I had no idea Friday March 13th was going to be my last day at work. I’ve got all kinds of food stashed in my desk – including my EMERGENCY CHOCOLATE supply. Dang!
If anyone finds this comforting – people used to use citrus fruit (usually oranges but not necessarily) to keep their clothes in drawers and closets smelling fresh, and ward off insects.
This was in a craft book I found when I was a kid in the ’60s. Simply take your orange, lemon, lime, etc., and pushed cloves into the rind all over. Let it sit and dry out, then put it in your drawer, closet, chest, whatever to keep your clothes smelling fresh and sweet.
So, you didn’t forget a tangerine, you just forgot one step in creating an air freshener!
And there is a non-trivial chance that (if your office is clean and dry enough) it could still work!
Luckily saw work from home coming and brought all my plants home. Of course, now my cat is eating them all which is why they were at the office to begin with ! Bad kitty, good thing you are so cute

You’re leaving money on the table if I can’t buy a “Yes, my coffee’s hot in this” mug like yesterday.

At least you’ll have an excuse to keep teleworking at the end of the pandemic.
