Aww c’mon Paisley! Bend the rules just this once and reshuffle the cards for Angora. When true love is at stake, no magic nor machinations of man or cat can keep lovers apart. ❤
Maybe Paisley should read Angora’s tea leaves next? Speaking of which …HEY, ROBIN! are you still not watching? If you’re lurking near the kitchen, how about bringing us all a tray of tea and bikkies? Thanks!
I have a Pages of Shustah deck left from my hippie days. Don’t look at the I Ching since it once told me to “move like a marmot” in response to a work problem.
Georgia, how about a BCN version of the Tarot? I’d buy two, one for my daughter who collect Tarot decks and one for me (just for the halibut).
OT: PAUL: Paul seems to be getting a little better. He is up for part of each day now. He still can’t eat, but is able to drink thin liquids. I am trying to persuade him that beef and chicken broths are also thin liquids, but I don’t think he believes me. Water and beer are his definitions of thin liquids. Everything else liquid tastes good and gets in your mouth.
Here’s a quote that has helped me quite a bit over the years. I just think it to myself. I never actually say it to anyone. But maybe you’ll like it, too:
“Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it’s done, they’ve seen it done every day, but they’re unable to do it themselves.” — Brendan Behan
O.T. Georgia posted this on the BCN site: "Surprise! It’s a boy! It’s three boys! We adopted three rats! Our local rat rescue, @bestfriendrodentrescue , was amazing enough to do a drive up adoption for us. We drove up and these sweet guys were brought out to our car in a carrier, which was passed at a careful distance. The cream colored Siamese rat is Bartleby, the mostly black curly rex rat is Rock, and that sweet black fancy hood mix with a white tummy is Frank. They have been settling in well and we’ve been so happy to welcome them into the family! We are very careful to keep the cats and rats separate (the cats go into another room when the rats come out). Elvis, Puck, and Lupin were each kittens with pet rats we had in the past, and they are not very interested beyond occasionally sniffing noses hello through the cage. We wondered how Goldie would be, and so far thank goodness she has been really good about them. Still, as friendly as cats and rodents can be between bars, of course they should never be left open and unsupervised.
Rats get a very bad rap—Since I was 19, I’ve been lucky to have many domesticated pet rats (Basil, Rex, Vlad, Atticus, Sherlock, Gabriel, Ulysses, Lionel, Virgil, Diego, Sam, Winston, Milo, and Freddie—often kept as trios or quartets, and bless them all, they are all missed The only thing I lament about rats is their short lifespan )
I highly recommend domesticated rats as pets! They are intelligent, empathetic, gentle, and kind. They learn their names and come when called like dogs, they clean themselves like cats, and they all have their own little personalities. Like dogs and cats, they truly enjoy the company of people and seek us out for cuddles (and snacks, lol).
I’m not sure if these boys will appear in the comic—but maybe one day! Who knows! For now, we love them so much and are so happy to share our home with them. They are thoroughly good boys!"
Is this going to be one of those instances where the fortune teller predicts something happening to their relationship, and they get so caught up trying to prevent it happening, that in so doing they end up driving themselves apart, and have to come about so to save it again at the end of the day?
In short, forced drama? …well, it IS a soap opera, isn’t it? :P
Well, I solved the problem of not having the like and share buttons. I had to disable my ad blocker on this site. I’ve had the ad blocker the entire few years I’ve been on Go Comics and had no problem. Guess I’ll have to pony up $20.00 to get a paid account.
Since we are all graduates of the Navel Academy (or maybe we are just a kind of citrus), today is Belly Button Beach Day. Does anyone know where Belly Button Beach is? Google maps located a BellyButton Hill (Kostner Park) in Orland Park, IL, and an East Belly Button Lane in Snowflake, AZ (is there a West Belly Button Lane?), but no beach. You’d think California would have taken care of this egregious omission by now, or maybe Provence, France.
And what is this fascination people have with navels? Almost everyone has one. (I knew a fellow who didn’t.) They aren’t good for much besides collecting lint, occasionally sporting bling, or as a “pop-up timer” for pregnant women.
… Oh dear, I just had a horrible thought: Could they be similar to the dreaded TOEBEANS? Yes, Robin, we ARE doomed!
I once sat for a reading with a card reader that I knew. I gave no facial clues and minimum responses. After five minutes of guesses, she “called a timeout” and lit some incense to calm the spirits. I relented and gave her the clues she needed and got a reading that was pretty much what I expected.
Or… Angora is not getting any letters from Kit because the dastardly Snowball and/or a suckup are intercepting them before she gets them She needs to get a burner phone so she can exchange texts messages with him.
And I don’t understand why no one wants me around when they’re watching their stories, or when occulty things are being discussed.

Hmmm…. Some readers treat inverted as “the same but less intense”. Others (like me) don’t see a difference at all.
But it doesn’t matter much. The cards will say what the cards will say.
BTW, I haven’t been here long (only since Ms Dunn popped up in a comment on the new Heart) but so far I haven’t seen any news about breaking cats.

Pais-Leprent: You bet it is. Next is The Empress.
The Queen: I hope that’s me.
Pais-Leprent: Yes, and it looks to show good fortune. Now the next card is Strength, but look! It is reversed.
Puckmosis: What could that mean?
