I went to the store and got a package of carrot seeds $2.50, planted them and tended them all summer. In the fall I pulled them up got five carrots. Went to the store next day bought 2lbs carrots $0.99

Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory did suggest that graduate schools should do better vetting, since so many evil doers have doctorates (e.g., Dr. Evil, Dr. Octopus, Dr. No).
