A bit tied up in your work?

There is a book series out there known as The Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine. Morganville has a Town Loon. Of course… this lunatic is a vampire… but so is most of the town. Myrnin has a pet spider – Bob. And that looks like something Bob would do!

As a Bob, I’m not sure how to take that. At least (unlike the spider) I spell my name backwards.

I can’t think of a worse pet, but then, I’m not very imaginative.

Peter: “Ever consider a dog or cat?”

BC: “………………..Just recently.”

Phew, that must be an extremely large spider. :)

An enclosed hammock?

Shelob got loose again.

BC needs to get out of this cocoon he’s got around himself…though I wouldn’t go so far as to call it his “comfort zone”! :D

If this doesn’t teach to you take better care of your pet, nothing will!

I don’t know of anybody who has a pet spider. I had a co-worker who had a pet boa constrictor, but I never went over to his house to see it.

Shelob is a lot older than I thought. However, on the plus side, it’s better than what his pet Boa had in mind.

“So, how did this happen?”

“Shelobbed me here…”

That must be some VERY STRONG silk!

Think I’ve got one of those spiders. I go out in my backyard and I feel something across my face. Spider web? Must be 20 ft long and wasn’t there yesterday.

A possible hazard of a pet bigger than you are.

“Oh, what a tangled web we weave….”

Reminds me of a cold winter’s night wrapped in a warm blanket enjoying hot chocolate by the fireside. Then being eaten by a giant spider.
