This reminds me of an account I saw long ago of an Irish town defending against Cromwell’s advancing army. The town prepared and retreated into their fort. The army arrived, set up cannon in the obvious spot, and battered a hole in the wall. Troops poured in and others waited for the gate to be opened. Instead, by the time a third of Cromwell’s force had entered bodies began to block the entry of more. The locals had set up a pen inside that area and ringed it with a walkway from which they rained rocks down on the trapped troops. Cromwell’s army retreated.

You need to find a knight who still has some iron in his blood and steel in his spine. This knight has nerves of egg noodles.

If it had been someone other than Rodney, we might have learned more about the haunted woods.

When I first saw the Haunted Woods I thought it was a Christmas tree farm or lot. Then I saw the sign.
