As my mind flashes to a guy (on another site) who posts quite a bit of males in kilts! Personally… I like the Summer Kilts the best. They are a bit short and footwear shows off much more legs! ;)
Bob, you could be collateral damage if you do not DUCK AND COVER! Whatever you do, DO NOT give your opinion if asked. Just do what they did on Tuesday night and talk about anything else except the question given to you.
From what I have read, there was resistance to the women’s suffrage movement from both men and women. More resistance from the women of that day than from the men, or maybe it just seemed that way.
So. . .where do we put the ones who themselves enjoyed all the rights and privileges accrued from the those on the left, BUT insist that all other women not be allowed those same rights. . .Queen Victoria, Phyllis Schlafly, Amy Barrett. . .
Women who want to stay in a “traditional” role are completely free to do so.
And if a married couple has a wife who is more gregarious and active, and a husband whose personality is given more to domestic activity, he’s free to do that too.
If those women really believed in traditional female roles in society they would be barefoot and pregnant in some man’s kitchen, not marching around the streets thinking what they like!
I was married once, 50 years ago. Lasted four years, never remarried. I was told I just never met the “right one”, but after 45 years perhaps several “right ones” have passed thru my life (or so I thought). It just ain’t in the cards this lifetime around, and I have no regrets. Although I am an incurable romantic who is “in love with falling in love”.

I notice that Wiley has correctly indicated that the ones on our left far outnumber the ones on the other side.

On the left: women asserting their right to equality.
On the right: women who hate themselves and wish they had more time to punch themselves in the face.
