In my house, dirty dishes in the sink work the same way.

oh, Earl, you didn’t want to pull a muscle whilst in your chair in order to reach the keys yourself?

I’m reminded of the L’ll Abner strip in which a fly lands on someone’s nose. No point shooing it away: Winter will fetch it.

Now that he has the keys he can drive Opal to the chiropractor.

And I thought I was lazy!

Trouble is we all know somebody like Earl ;-)

You should know Earl by now, Opal…why did you fall for that trick?

I think Earl has gotten to the place where he simply likes sleeping on the couch.

I did this once, back in university. It actually works! I’m honestly surprised to realise I haven’t thought of doing it again since.

Guess I’m just too lazy to be that lazy anymore.

The height of laziness…Opal should have walked away and left them….

At least he could remember where they are while on the floor. Now he will run the risk of misplacing them.

Odds are no one in the house knows what one of them opens.

Well … whose keys are they?

Earl is simply heeding the words of the Bible: “All thing come to those who wait.” That’s the approach I use, and it often works.

It would be pretty neat if Earl could levitate those keys from the floor.

Maybe he should buy himself a grabber for the times that he’s home alone.
