I was much happier when I was 45 than I ever was at 13. Wouldn’t be a teenage girl again for all Jeff Bezos money.

13 was the very worst year for me, but 15-16 were awesome. 45 sucked but if I had bezos’ money it would have been good.

Ahhh… to be 13 again and know what I know now… I’d probably end up in jail. (I’m currently 76 and counting…)

I’d like to drop about 70 years but keep the knowledge. I’d like to start over from age 5 and steer my life in a more interesting direction.

When I was 13 I read some predictions about what the world would be like in the year 2000, and I calculated how old I would be that year. I remember my reaction when I got figured it out – “42!!! I’ll be OLD!!!” Forty two seems pretty young to me today.

My granddaughter is 13, I’m 58

I love my life! It’s not without its glitches but I try to make each decade my best ever. I agree with those who say adulthood is soooo much better. Looking forward to retirement too.

If I could go back, I’d make entirely different mistakes.

age 70 to age 45, “Hold my beer.”

Some child would complain about how bad their life was.

“What grade are you in?”

“Xth grade.” (X is for whatever grade they named.)

“Ah, Xth grade! Best three years of my life.”

You shouldn’t confuse children, but it is fun.

My teens were pretty good, I’d have to say. The key for me was to accept myself or whatever version life offered: tomboy, bookish nerd, blossomed tart.
