With an extra fuzzy blanket, who could resist?

Elvis, sleeping on the woman’s throat does not endear you to her. On the other paw, Pucky is SO CUTE!!

Puck must wear that sleep mask to protect himself from his own cuteness. Otherwise he’d never get to sleep at all!

Also, now I’ve got a mental image of lines of Lupins doing the cancan, so now you have to have that in your head as well. You’re welcome, I guess.

And Puck waxes rhapsodic on the fuzzy blanket…

Well, it’s official. We’re all going to die via cuteness overload, courtesy of Puck. Not that I’m complaining~

I love how the abstract floral motif of the fuzzy blanket slowly developed eyes and ears and morphed into abstract bunnies and chinchillas.

I finally figured out why The Man puts up with The Woman…. he’s as crazy as she is.

Our best friends are here for the weekend. All 4 cats have abandoned our bed to sleep in the two guest rooms which are usually off limits to them. Traitors! Our living heated blanket is missing!

There is an article in the NYT about “flower blankets” that are described just the way Puck describes this fuzzy blanket. Since they don’t seem to be available online ….. gasp!….I wonder how the People acquired one since they probably did not leave the BPH while social distancing and avoiding travel.

Puck squeak yawning with Buzzy Mouse by his side is absolutely adorable! Alas, even the fuzziest blanket in the world isn’t enough to tempt Loaner Cat to sleep with us :(

BUNNIES!

“Sleeping on a cloud of bunnies…drifting over a meadow of dandelion chinchillas” The imagery is out of this world! I want to live inside Puck’s head.

Wait till it’s been washed 2 or 3 times!

“Dandelion chinchillas”? Where, oh where, can one acquire such a treasure?

Poor Elvis. He gets no credit whatsoever for his heroic throatwarming efforts.

Indeed, our plush fleece blankets bring all the Cats to our yard. Damn right it’s better than yours! Back in October I bought a $10 plush purple fleece “blankie” covered in Halloween Cats at Wally World. And Roy has taken it over during the day. If it’s not set out on the bed just for him to curl up on daily he meows loudly and hits my wife until she relents and gives him his personal fleece cloud to lay upon.

Doggoneit, I’d like a blanket like that!

Hey, folks, almost time to turn our calendars over to March!

When a cat gets that cute, you have to turn the corner of the blanket over it, to hide the cuteness, so you can get on with your life.

A cat who embraces the practice of cuteness instead of doing it accidentally. Hmm…this is outlier behavior.

Our cats LOVE our fleece blankets during the winter.

Isn’t Big Red Couch one of those little kid shows on Nickelodeon?

As long as those aren’t Watership Down bunnies you’re safe, Puck.

OMC, the cuteness! The only way to recover is to look at the cuteness that is sleeping nearby. My house tiger loves to face plant into something while sleeping and looks adorable, just like he is doing right now.

Peep toads!!! We got up to 73°F this afternoon and there is currently a peep toad jamboree happening in the nearby cow pasture. They will be in and out over the next few weeks thanks to our very changeable weather, but the first appearance of the season is always special. (March 1 is the first day of “meteorological” Spring!)
