Roland’s wife has been mentioned before (I remember because I recall reacting pretty much exactly as some people are reacting today) but I don’t think we’ve ever seen her.

The Noble Peace Cup is a big reach for an admin that was never worth a cup of warm peace.

Here comes the crowd who claims that Trudeau must criticize Biden in the same way he criticized Trump. Comedy must punch up, it doesn’t punch down. Biden is trying to look out for those who don’t have the means to trade in the stock market, that was the other guy. However, there will be plenty of villains out there for comedians to make fun of, so they will have plenty of material, as Ted Cruz displayed this week when he jetted off to Cancun, leaving his constituents freezing, without heat, food, water or electricity behind.

Trump is giving a keynote address at CPAC on February 28th. That should be interesting. It’s his first major public appearance since leaving office. My guess is it will mostly talk about how he owns the party now and how they’re nothing without him, and maybe he’ll officially announce his running for 2024.

Apparently they also asked Pence but he declined.

Yes, cops showed more restraint at the Capitol than they did during the summer riots. They only shot and killed one unarmed woman for basically trespassing.

I just [re]noticed the abbreviation of Roland’s name as RBHJr.

If I abbreviate my name identically, I get RHBJr, so one could easily be mistaken for the other.

Hey, GT, you probably shouldn’t show Roland texting while driving. Too big a problem these days.

IMHO It’s too bad that AFAIK as no one’s ever tried to assemble a straightforward summary of the Qanon conspiracies with the same objective, rational approach that any number of people have used in summarizing conspiracies from “The X-Files” and other TV series, so that “we” would have a better understanding of exactly what “we” are “fighting” against. I doubt the Qanon sites themselves offer much in the way of straightforwardness, objectivity, or rationality. :-|

Nice editorial, Trudeau. But please come back with an actual comic strip next week.

News flash: Doonesbury is a comic strip that comments on current events. Don’t like it? Too bad. I’m glad he comments on current events. If you want just an “actual comic strip” you have plenty to choose from!
