Similar to a scorpion surviving for a short while without its tail, cockroaches can survive for a short while without its head.

Scorpions can be a very tough lot… I once watched one of those darn things walk right out of a fire… never even fazed it.Believe it or not.

So, were the last words of that Scorpion something like, “No Sh*t!”

Shot, Shot – what did you think I meant?

If the Babbler lives up to its name, it won’t last long.

In which prehistoric animal dentist office did they find the molar stored with a carton of milk?

Seems like months would be way to long for constipation to fill a bug with a 1" stomach the diameter of two human hairs. Wouldn’t it die of starvation first?

Here’s my Army story and it’s a short one! The young buck private from the lower ranks is experiencing the heat of battle for the first time and he is scared out of his wits! Unable to control his horror, he turns and runs to the rear like a skeert ass jackrabbit! After running for as far as his strength will allow, he runs into another soldier and he stops and asks “Who are you?” The soldier says Why I am Colonel Smith !" The Pvt says “Colonel?’ Wow I didn’t know I had run that far to the rear!” I’ll do an about face now and head to the barracks cuz these shoes are killin me!

You called it a ‘black browed babbler’. OF COURSE it went into hiding for 170 years! It was mortified!

How does breaking off it’s own tail serve as any kind of ‘defense mechanism’ for a scorpion, especially when it ends up killing it? What, it somehow defends itself better— for awhile— without it’s primary weapon?!? This doesn’t pass the Logic Sniff Test.

After viewing how the one specimen had been ‘collected’, the Black-Browed Babbler birds successfully hid out for 170 years until Bobby, the Black-Billed Babbler babbled.

Dinosaurs, ravaged by meteorite impact, volcanic eruptions, climate change, and sea level change, tried to put pictures of their missing on the mammoth’s teeth. The only method of picture making in that time was rock and chisel. The mammoths refused.

Give mercy to those scorpions who fought their 6 off, and are now full of … it. Step on `em.
