I am a friendly introvert (I call it “mesovert”). I’m just fine in a group of people I know, mostly. And I actually enjoy meeting new people (though I’ll forget names in under a minute, usually) as long as I’m enjoying the situation. But I’ve also walked out of more than one “party” when I just couldn’t STAND it any more. Sometimes in the first 15 minutes. Once, when attending with then-Spouse, I was prepared to walk more than 7 miles, at night, in hilly country if I got home before she found me along the route. (Actually less than 2 miles, though I had nearly reached the top of the highest point on the road).
Gooooooooooooood morning, Pearls fans! Is Rat an introvert? I totally agree. Happy Memorial Day and have a good rest of your Monday! (If that’s possible)
Today is my third dinner party of the weekend. If one more person tells me what they’ve been binge watching or why they still refuse to get vaccinated, I won’t be responsible for my actions.

Assuming I actually like the other people I’m inviting, I think that’s about as close as I want Rat to get anyway.
