Says a lot about how much the people thought of her. Dismissed as cat food. Now, that’s what you call a fall from grace. Tomos? You better get some steam up!
Tarzan writes a complaint to the illustrator: “According to the novel, Jad-Bal-Ja appeared from nowhere and killed Belthar. Then Nemone committed a suicide (as a result of grief or maybe some magic) and everyone lived happily ever after. Why did you change the end?! At least you could allow me to kill Belthar, after he ‘took care’ of Nemone!”
Answer: “PETA intervened, pointing out that too many lions were killed (by you) in this story arc. Moreover, they thought it would be unfair to deny Belthar of his meal.”
Tarzan: “Well.. OK… maybe I’ll encounter Belthar or some other lion in the next adventure”.
Well played by Tarzan. Making a move at just the exact moment it’s no longer necessary, so everyone thinks he was actually going to help, but didn’t notice on time.
