I’ve always thought it rather rude to trying talking to someone while they are reading the paper. Of course, she gets the same response out of Earl even when he is not reading.

Well, he is Spalding … oh, wait, no, he’s balding

Is she talking to Roscoe or Earl?

Instead of Wilson, Earl is more of a Brunswick or Ebonite.

Love that movie for many reasons, but as a figure skater, I get a kick out of the Riedell figure skates that wash up on the beach.

With people who like to talk and talk I don’t think it matters if you listen or not. It’s not like you’re having a conversation. He’s just enjoying his own voice.

That’s a compliment, a guess.

Opal will eventually start calling Earl, “Wilson”.

Brian must be spying on my family. My daughter made the same comment about her dad a few weeks ago.
