Yeah. Spouse generally leaves the clean sheets on the bed in that format. AND complains if I put them back on, because I’m supposed to fold them and use the ones that I folded 3 or 4 weeks ago instead. She’s not a big fan of efficiency… at least in that regard… As far as I can see, each set of sheets will wear out after (however many) nights of use, and it really matters not a whit whether those nights are consecutive or in sets of 7, some weeks apart.
When my other half “helps” to make the bed he seems to be terrified that he’s going to rip a sheet. You’ve got to pull that fabric tight or it’s just full of wrinkles.
Had Mr help me with guest room bed the other day…it was as if he had never seen a fitted sheet before. He got a few steps in walking to the back of our home ;-)
I learned how to put on a fitted sheet when I was 10. It took 3 bruises and a few stitches, but I did get it on. The second time was good enough to avoid corporal punishment.
Husband was on his own for a few days. When I returned, the kitchen floor was spotless. He finally admitted that he’d tried to run the dishwasher and had used regular dish detergent in it. Said there was about 6 inches of suds all over the kitchen floor. And the gasket around the dishwasher opening was always loose after that. Unfortunately the kitchen floor has never been that clean again.
I take them right out of the dryer and put them on the beds. The last few years, we put them on together because our mattress is too heavy for me to pick up and tuck the corners. If I don’t pay attention, my husband goes ahead and puts them on alone. This has been a perk of aging.

There are too many cheap bathroom humor comments to be made. Fortunately, I read the strip before they arrived.

Not all surprises are good.

Earl, is the laziest husband. I wonder why Opal stays with him. I would have dumped him years ago.

It’s so much easier with two people to make a bed anyway. You sleep in it, you help make it up :)

I think Earl took them off the bed and put them straight in the dryer ( they didn’t look dirty!).

Earl, that’d ONLY work if you were single.
